Thanks! Yes, I have read that elsewhere. Are these 2GB placed in the specified install location (it defaults to c:\XboxGames)? So all the old MSFS install files remain, correct?

To answer my own question. Now that I converted my Store install, it seems the 2GB are files that were moved to the new location from the initial install, to make them accessible. Most of the old install remained in their old location. It seems to have worked. I have the sky colors mod and reshade working now.

What values are people using these days?

I find the latest ones by MortThe2nd to be a little too green still.

the grass is always greener where you water it...

why not change the green value, i.e. reduce the green value step by step till you are satisfied? I guess by then we will have the next official software update with Asobo's new color engine. 🤣

; MorThe2nd colors:

RED = 0.00508
GREEN = 0.00318
BLUE = 0.0

I keep finding myself wanting to pop back in to this thread and say thank you to all concerned for this great improvement.

Being an early riser, i love to do dawn patrol flights in helicopters on my days off, and this time of year my commute to work has me driving almost directly toward the sun at the start and end of each day.  The last couple of weeks have me in constant amazement that the real sunrises and sunsets match what I'm seeing in my MSFS flights perfectly.  Very, very awesome.

Using MortThe2nd's colors with a properly calibrated HD monitor.

and the video would be much more beautiful without constant VR head shaking. I am already seasick after watching only 20 seconds. and the rattling, can someone please close the window. 🤣 instead of VR controllers I would recommend something that sits still on the table, like Behringer x-touch mini, joystick buttons or Honeycomb Bravo. much easier especially during turbulence. but YMMV.

I think the problem is the motion isn't fluid. I had trouble watching it too, just watched a couple seconds here and there because I was already dizzy.

Nice video but the POV makes me wonder if the pilot is only about 20 inches tall. But no offense. Thats something most of the video creators seem to get wrong.

Sky colors a nice though.

Yea it's one of those things I'm picky about as well.

Everything seems to be too high and too far zoomed in cockpit panel wise for me with flight sim videos, I'd like to atleast see the yoke/stick in the screen a little.

I'd prefer looking around more than someone just sitting still focusing in that one piece of panel the entire video.

As for the VR playback meh...was messing about and didn't plan on sharing, I should have put OpenXR Toolkit Smoothing Option on.

Ok next time I'll make it smoother folks.

@turbomaxYea im still word not allowed my FS Realistic profile settings reset and it had ground/undercarriage wheel noise jacked all the way up🤣

Nothing but weird issues after SU13 for me,,,

Does this mod work now for the MS Store Version?

Quite the opposite for me.  if a frame the size of a 27inch monitor was held at arms length in the real cockpit, it would need to be moved around to see everything.  Only a field of view way too big would show everything at the same time. So many videos appear to show aircraft landing or taking off at 1,000 mph!

In the video, the pilots viewpoint appears to be 5 feet away from the instrument panel. The text and symbols are incredibly small and unreadable. The head movement doesn't bother me at all, but viewing a cockpit where everything is tiny does
