I looking at Orbx and a ton of reduced rate, but one airport I like it apparently not very good - KBUR v2. 

So, before the sales end, what airports are worth the price?  I'm looking at EIDW v2 (soft spot since I flew there in 2022), but overall I am looking for scenery that isn't bad on performance or shoddy in appearance. 

I mainly fly US, Europe, Canada.

Orbx is overwhelming with all of its deals. I’ve got about 12 places ready to buy in my cart! The question is, will I remember they’re there after checking them out haha

I'm a bit embarrassed to say I have a lot of scenery addons but I continually forget which ones haha

EGNX is on Contrail for half off at $11. It's a masterwork of a scenery.

Got this one as well, great deal! BTW, I keep an excel listing of all my purchased scenery by Region, by Vendor. Makes it easier to lookup Departure & Arrival  airports in "Addon Linker".

Same here, I did notice that any airports by Flightbeam seem to be considerably superior to the usual suspects when it comes to performance. Just an observation from usage over the last week.

Me too, which is why I started a custom Google Maps to keep track of all of them, as well as routes that I’d like to fly between them ☺️

I use the Reverse 5/second rule. LOL! When they become available I look at my log (Microsoft Excel).  If I have flown to that airport a second time already in MSFS, prior to any purchase, I ask myself If I in the future will likely fly there an additional five times.  If so, and if it looks good, I purchase.

I fly a fantasy schedule based on real world sports team schedules.  So as an example, with MLB, NHL, and NCAA Basketball, I will fly to airports like KMDW, KMSP, KMKC, KDAL, KBWI, KBOS, KLGA, KPHX, KLGB, KSNA, KBNA, KOAK, etc. multiple times per year.  If I have not already flown there twice, or not likely to fly there five times in the future, then my wallet stays in my pocket.

With FSX and P3D I totally overpurchased.  Learned my lesson.

I purchased a few airports, hopefully ones that are good, lol.  I tried looking some up and mainly focused on places I fly already.  I did buy a couple outliers (EGNX). 

Do I need to uninstall/deselect the default airports for the ones I bought?  If so, where do I do that?

I do the same - I may have gotten the idea from you?  If so, thank you 😀

I break out freeware, payware, and Asobo Enhanced by colour, and I use different symbols depending on what type of airport it is, primarily GA, serving airliners, military, water, heliport, sail plane.

It makes a world of difference in keeping track of what I have. 

Makes it so much easier to avoid duplicates when browsing Black Friday sales on various stores.

If that's necessary I think the developer would include instructions on how and why.

KDCA is very cheap in the sales and it's without doubt one of the most stunning models in the sim. It even has terminal ambience.

You may want to note that there is a Black Friday bundle deal for EIDWv2 and the Dublin Landmarks City Pack. I grabbed that one last week!

Addon Linker has a map so you can see at a glance where they are.
