Whatever they did, worked for me. Got full speed (~90Mbit) and the whole thing just took a few minutes. Thanks Asobo and MS !!!

Once I got past that it suddenly spiked to normal download speeds then gradually went back to 2 then up to 200 so it is really all over the place right now.

Posters on the FS Forum are  posting lower FPS after the update.  Well isn't that special.....😏...

Yes understood.. all I'm saying is that the fact that it has returned to some *today* on SU14 release day, could be due to the server overload. If it still occurs consistently in 2-3 days then perhaps causes such as telemetry still being in the released SU, or some other issue outside of server overload are in play, and kicking up a fuss would be good. Currently there are some folks reporting they're not seeing it (including on this thread), so that's why probably best to wait a couple of days to eliminate server overload as a cause.

Well mine has been stuck at zero for about 10 minutes. 

Mine was stuck at 100% decompressing fs-base-soundbanks-0.1.54.fspatch. After about 30 mins of no progression, I restarted the sim, and the patcher is still working on that file without any obvious progression. 😞

Give it time, it happened to me too, got stuck at 57% for a long while, then at 67% too.

Seems I've experienced all these DL issues since owning MSFS.

I have never had an update  this bad. If someone had to reinstall MSFS, it would probably take a  full week at this rate. 

The same issues appeared during the SU13 update weeks ago. I would ask Asobo/MS where the learning curve is heading to?.
