I think the choppiness yesterday may have been due to rebuilding the DX caches, which I cleared out before installing the new driver. Just curious and wondering if I missed something - what was gained by updating to 546.65? Nothing at all from what I can tell, though I guessed that would be the case from the release notes and I was prepared to roll back if I noted any loss in performance or quality. Hopefully, Nvidia will be able to update a driver with improvements for MSFS at some point. Can you convey your settings on these options: HAGS on or off? Vsync to what refresh rate if using Vsync? Any other frame limiters employed? Gsync (if you have it) enabled? DX11 or DX12? TAA or DLSS? Finally, where can I find the current version? Thanks ;o) I am a dunce. Somewhere along the way I must have disabled frame generation. For the most part and in anyplace other than NYC i get my intended framerate. Flying in NY last night seemed a bit.... choppy so i checked and sure enough it was off, i just never noticed. All that to say that the 2D element ghosting is certainly still a thing for me.

Gary Jones I had something really odd happen recently. For some reason, I have two Microsoft Flight Simulator folders in my XBox Games folder. I’m assuming this is because I’ve been in pretty much all of the betas, but I’m too nervous to try and “fix” this issue. In any event, if I put the files in one of the folders, nothing happens. If I put them in the other, it works. Both have flightsimulator.exe files. Perhaps you have more than one as well?
January 20, 20242 yr I have the steam version of MSFS and the location is in the Steam/steamapps/common folder, that is the only one i can find.

I believe you must use the universal one which doesn't require the reg file to be run. Other versions still need the edit.
