Pilot ID in Simbrief is 5 numbers. Should be entered in General Options.

Got it, aware of that. Thanks for the clarification, nonetheless. What is a little confusing is the AS error specifically says "userID". In my Simbrief account, I have "username" and, as you pointed out, "Pilot ID". There is no such listing as "userID", so I wasn't sure which one to use. I have, however, tried both, and I still get the error message.

It's very popular to hate me and Active Sky, and by extension, those who support me, our development team or the product.  I've mentioned (harped on) this before but that's also generated criticism so

I just watched that.  I was pretty surprised that his main critique of AS wx depictions was that the clouds were too flat, and lacked vertical development compared to MSFS.   This surprised me be

I think it's 6 numbers.  Mine is anyway.  I just entered it in ASFS and hopefully it will work.

Mine is 5, I guess they are up to six figures now.

Well I might be putting in the wrong number, thanks for telling me that.   I will figure it out.

Ok thanks -- PilotID under Simbrief | Account Settings  -- mine is 6 digits.  Bob must have set his up a while ago.   I only set mine up about 6 months ago.

If, like others here, your Pilot ID is 5 digits, try adding a leading 0 to your number.

My 5 digit ID worked perfectly.

My Pilot ID is only 5 digits, and it works fine without a lead zero.

Good to know. I have another utility that requires 6 digits, so you need to add a leading zero.

Loving ActiveSky.  Should I set the turbulence inside the simulator to off now?  I was running the turbulence at realistic inside the sim.

                                                       Thanks

Don't turn it off, it works in conjunction with msfs. I fly the 73 and have it to realistic, it's working outstandingly well now with latest B8888. (- Re-designed turbulence and air effects injection method for more compatibility, solving low or no turbulence for some users).

I no longer have those strong bank angles when high turbulence hit.

I use Low in MSFS and that seems fine. Damian has indicated that they've tuned turbulence in ASFS with Low set in MSFS. However, individual preference applies as well.

Copy on the latest build on turbulence. Will check it out Thanks guess I'll try low first 😮
