Changing between these lets us compare ASFS and default clouds within the same sim session. In other words, “on the fly”. Outside of this method, it’s generally not recommended to change any MSFS weather settings while ASFS is running. AFAIK.

Great! No more updating via the Navigraph FMS Data Manager for P3Dv6. And more importantly, another dev recognising ASFS, increasing the adoption rate.

(Was in active Pause as new weather was injected and the plane overstressed). No idea where to report it so hopefully one of the devs is reading it here.

Did a tremendously fun approach last night - best I’ve seen of ASFS so far. Thunderstorms in the area, thunder, lightning. One second inside the dark interior of a towering cumulus, then out into sunshine and blue skies the next. Occasionally some light drizzle on the windshield and other times heavy rain. Never had so much weather in such a short flight. Wow 🤩

clouds at 23:30 still awful cauliflower/volcanic ashes, but that's not ASFS fault. I choose low cloud quality settings to mitigate this somewhat.

Is it necessary to uninstall ASFS in order to update to the latest beta? Or can I just install that?

No. Just let it install over. Your login etc. are preserved. Easy peasy
