There hasn't been software in human history that would be released without bugs! LOL

  • Yea, I really don’t care about it anymore tbh. So utterly tired of the same old nonsense from RSR’s word salad diatribes and that clown Mathjis now added to the mix. I’ll keep on keeping on with Fenix

For goodness sakes will people just leave PMDG alone and let them do what they are good at (developing simulation planes) and just focus on your life and/or other planes Jeez. Let them finish the prod

Pacman: "Perhaps one of the most infamous bugs in gaming, the game renders garbage at Level 256"

Space Invaders: "Nishikado realized that the faster aliens added a sense of advancement and challenge. The bug became a feature: the first ever gaming difficulty curve."

Oh so THAT's how that phrase/excuse from devs originated!

"It's not a bug it's a FEATURE.."

One thing I will say just to balance the negativity in here. XP12 looks horrific.

Hope the XP guys aren't reading. You will be handcuffed and led away.

"... as systems are brought into conformity..."

Classic soulless, verbless jargon.  In other words, as normal people would say, "We have asked some of the people we work with to prepare for an increased demand by customers at release time.  Also, we will have to shut down some of our systems while we roll out some upgrades. This will mean some intermittent delays for customers in validating their purchases."  When communicating to a large audience, use language you would use when explaining something to a teenage relative at a family barbecue.  Plain, simple and jargon-free.  It ain't that hard.

Why would XP guys be hanging around here anyways? As a matter of fact P3D guys also?

XP simmers are getting "Seduced" by MSFS. There is a whole thread on it 😅

Not flattered but that is "off topic" to this thread Correct?

„XP-simmers“ often also own MSFS or at least have tried it but simply prefer XP. But they like to read about some general sim-news. Many MSFS-guys read the XP-forum (and comment it). Each of both sims have pros and cons and I seriously don‘t see why an XP-guy would be more seduced by MSFS than the opposite.

Can we keep this a PMDG tread instead of XP vs MSFS please and can mods clean it up. Users of both platforms are acting childish these days with BS drama. It does no one any good.

I do not understand why a thread was needed to complain about PMDG release schedules.
They have never stated a specific release date, never will.

I mean I get it I want the 777 just like everyone else but it will be ready when PMDG say's it's ready, not a single thing anyone here in this thread is gonna do to change that so I seriously do not understand why the need to act like you are entitled to something being released by a certain time frame.

Except RSR is not communicating to a large audience, at least not directly. He is only on his own PMDG forum and is simply answering in advance the inevitable questions regarding details that could be asked by members of his forum.  This is not unusual for developers on any software forum or Discord and long may they continue to elaborate on all the details of their projects and timelines without having to unduly tease it out of them. I can decide for myself what is important and what isn't and at my age I would consider it to be somewhat disrespectful to be treated like a teenager at a barbecue,  thanks very much. 🤨

Cheers

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

They love this attention. I've always had the impression they have a pretty sadistic sense of humour and over-inflated ego's. Just ignore them, don't give them the air time and they'll soon come crawling back for attention, but whilst you keep moaning and showing them your dissatisfaction due to it not being released, they'll keep poking the bear.
