June 4, 20242 yr I have seen many developers and commercial members post on Avsim to announce recent developments who have been treated with the utmost respect by Avsim members. Yet, I fear if RSR ever graced these pages he would not receive anywhere near the same level of courtesy. Indeed the disrespectfulness to the CEO of PMDG is nothing short of petulance with some even suggesting the delay is nefarious (meaning wicked or criminal!)....really? In the 40 year franchise of MS Flight Simulator, the PMDG B777 is on the verge of history of potentially being the best study level aircraft.... ever! For that RSR and all of his team, will deserve a lot more than the rubbish dished up by some on here and on every thread about the expected releases of the B737 or the B777. Maybe you don't understand what he says by the way he writes, but guess what, I don't understand what some of you say by the way you write either but I most certainly respect your 'right to write however you like'! Do any of us know what is happening behind the scenes at PMDG? Answer: NO. Therefore we cant possibly speculate on why the T7 is delayed but clearly it is. I would say a mixture of things as explained by others above but also as with every business, maintaining cash flow is always primary. If then, just for a wild example, a commercial project is up against a late contract penalty then I suspect work would almost stop on the T7 to achieve completion of the commercial project. For obvious reasons PMDG are unlikely to announce that but would continue to give hope that the B777 is not far away. So to hear some you say you are over it, or you don't care anymore, you'll go and do something else etc, is understandable but RSR is running a business and doesn't have that luxury because he potentially has lots of other competing requirements not the least of which is delivering a fully polished B777. We mustn't play the man. In doing so we disrespect all the developers he leads too. In the end I think the dislike that some have of RSR and therefore PMDG can only be explained by the old adage, 'We hate the one we love the most'. June 4, 20242 yr Wow, some of you guys should really go touch some grass. Both those who imply a conspiracy for the delay and those who would apparently give their lives for RSR.
June 4, 20242 yr I will say the current release guess (nee, Delay) affect my purchasing decision. If it came out last month, it was a solid probable. Now, with 2024 getting a release date announced Sunday, whenever Fenix releases the a319/21, there are just enough possible purchases conflicting in my wallet. What is likely is I will get the cargo version and the -200. Continental had the 200 and I prefer flying defunct routes. It's not because I'm tired of the hype, just more stuff is probable to release closer together.

They really need to get that fixed. Is there more info on this? All of the sudden I started getting blank screens and nothing works in the cockpit. I have to exit to main menu then fire up the flight several times in a row for things to start working again. Is that the bug? Is there more info on this somewhere? Jacek G. June 4, 20242 yr I don't have many DLCs installed (33 folders on Community folder) and have this problem... 13600KF - AIO - 32GB DDR4 - RTX4070 - UW1440p GSync - USB DAC - 2TB NVMe - Windows 11 Pro - Gladiator NXT EVO - 1 Gbps Fiber - MSFS 2024

Just waiting for him to say that it’s the end users fault for having too much DLC and to solve the issue you must run PMDG with vanilla MSFS. Classic Mathijs…. Eric

June 4, 20242 yr Anyone speculating that PMDG is intentionally delaying the release of this cash cow (aka the 777) is delusional or joking. Ryan
