PMDG 777 Released

Featured Replies

Into The Blue Simulations' review is up. His final summary comments start at this timestamp: https://youtu.be/722wb6bF1yc?t=3719
Some quotes:

  • modelling & texturing: externally seems pretty spot on, and also very good internally
  • flight modelling:
    • very nice job by PMDG
    • based on my level-D sim and IRL widebody experience, that certainly comes across in PMDG
    • nosewheel steering a little bit unresponsive
      • RSR did say they will adopt new SU15 ground physics improvements in a later update to the 777
    • reminds me of bigger version of 737
  • performed pretty well to the numbers
  • systems wise, right up there with the very best
  • this is fully study-level
  • normal and abnormal ops, full set of failures
  • everything has a real feel of quality to it
  • he likes the engine sounds from the interior and feels it captures IRL G90 nicely, external sounds is lacking a bit of roar
  • extensive range of custom ground equipment
  • modelled openable doors/windows are great
  • overall a strong additional feature-set
  • very framerate friendly, like the 737
  • summary: absolute stellar product, first truly study-level long-hauler for MSFS

  • I think we get it Bob. You don't do or like long hauls. 😅 I'm sure I missed a 4th remark somewhere in the 7 pages. 😉

Not sure when you guys will get her....but this one is already on flightsim.to for your downloading pleasure (click the link in my sig to get to my flightsim.to page).  More to follow when I get time.

  • From Reddit someone used ChatGPT to summarize RSR’s forum post. Then someone else used Claude AI to turn it into Randazzle speak. It’s gold because I can picture Randazzle saying this into a mirror wi

I heard RSR is writing all emails himself this time including a personal thank you note.

So it may take a bit longer.

It's coming up on 45 mins since I made my purchase. Still have not received the email with the download link. I understand they are swamped, but this delay seems a bit excessive.

Tbh, kinda glad I don't like airliners. Seems expensive. Not just the price of the plane, but the hardware to run them lol. From a layman's perspective though, it does look good. I think it's going to be loved by the community.

It happens every launch and PMDG act surprised it's happened every time.

Same here... And to think we probably ordered within the first 5 minutes. Just how much money have they just made?! 😄

I would imagine that $1m+ is probably not out of the question for just the first day.

I got my 777 code really quickly, within the first 5 minutes. Already installed.
But I also bought the 737-900 at the same time and that's been processing for the last 30 mins.

I just assume their system is set up for slinging the triple, and not anything else.
