Alright, already the installer is doing something different than the first try. (Ie opening the Operations Center automatically) Don’t select run as administrator seems to be the difference!
June 25, 20241 yr Thanks for the tip on the pop-up blocker...I didn't have any 3rd party software, but, did allow pop-ups in the Edge settings...after my 7th attempt (following the change), and the 777 is now downloading! Wow...50 minutes to wait for the link/key and another 15 minutes or so with the 2 step authentication...
June 25, 20241 yr Excellent (I skipped through quick and 320SimPilot always delivers great tutorials) tutorial showing how to go from cold and dark to takeoff. 320SimPilot is type rated on the 777, 787, and the A320. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
June 25, 20241 yr Far better purchase experience this time compared to the 737 launch, A slight wait for the code, and then the download, but minutes compared to before. From a layman's perspective though, it does look good. I think it's going to be loved by the community. I look at it this way, the commanche is $50 for a GA, and extra $27 seems worth it. We spend that on a fast food meal that we will poop out in a day lol
June 25, 20241 yr 1.5 hours and still no download email for me. Not sure if many others are having to wait this long?

Wow...50 minutes to wait for the link/key and another 15 minutes or so with the 2 step authentication... Consider yourself lucky 😉 I'm still waiting for email for more than an hour. All good though. Off to dinner and a nap. Update: K-okay. It took 2:40 mins, but got the email with the D/L link. Then another 20min faffing around with getting the download to work. These guys....it's like their a family member or something. Love then while hating them. June 25, 20241 yr This really is hard to believe that it takes that long to generate a key but I understand they tie to your name, among others things? I assume? Chris Chiozza

It's more likely to not be a matter of key generation, but a matter of witholding the key and sequecing the release of keys to customers in order to not overload the servers. I see in my PMDG account that I don't have a download link or activation key for the 777 either (while those details are there for the 737), so I guess they just haven't processed mine yet.
