Guess I'm not alone. Always tend to get a bit worried when there's an update I don't expect. First thing I did was to close the window, then check Avsim 😅

  • Slightly naive to think that todays issues with MSFS2020 magically disappear with MSFS2024... in all those years I played sequels on PC, at least 50% of the bugs and issues were «reproduced» in sequel

Yes. There were release notes.  Needed to scroll to see all of it.  This is what I could capure on the topmost portion. I believe this was just 1.37.19.0. Wasn't 1.37.18.0 the previous SU? It had a much more extensive list when scrolled.  Today's release installed very quickly.

For a fast and easy check of updated airports I use FStarter24.

Just downloaded it and now sim CTD's before even loads!

Not had this before...

Well, my sim just cacked itself completely! Reverting back to a new setup! I have no idea what happened as havent flown for over a week... not sure if ill reinstall or wait for the next version... sigh

All uninstalled... what a pain...

Well the update appears to have deleted my MSFS2020 Premium Deluxe edition - see my other current thread. A first for me to have a bad experience with updates.
