Featured Replies

I was hoping the pricing would be around $100 - $150 range, but this is quite ridiculous??

  • Three hundred and twenty five million dollars is very reasonable for a 777. The average price for a real 777 is around $375 million. You are saving over $50 million dollars, plus you get free delivery

  • It is so stupid how they keep the price a secret till the very last minute.

  • Details details....  $325 vs $325,000,000   I mean I can see how you can easily miss those 6 zeros if you don't actually take the time to look....

they do this  every time  at every release  of  their  aircraft,  think its  to test   their  server

It is a joke: 325.000.000.000 dollar, the price is not announced yet.

Three hundred and twenty five million dollars is very reasonable for a 777. The average price for a real 777 is around $375 million. You are saving over $50 million dollars, plus you get free delivery, fuel, and maintenance for the life of the aircraft! They’ll even repaint the plane for free as many times as you want - certainly a better deal than Boeing!

Besides, I’m sure PMDG has financing options available.

It is so stupid how they keep the price a secret till the very last minute.

It really isn't.

*Market rate valuation* for a new 77W is currently $86.5m (Q1 2024). Even back in Spring 2013, less than a decade after its first delivery, market rate was less than half the list price at $162m. Valuation fell below nine figures back in Summer 2022.

Edited to add:

Discounts for factory-fresh airliners are thought to be in the region of anywhere from 20%–30% (even 50% depending on order size, customer and age of aircraft design). So that would mean anywhere between $187.5m–$300m.

No, it's very clever, because the community is debating all the time about the prices.

And as you can see, most will pay about 70$.

PMDG would be dumb if they had announced it already for 50$.

Seems to be a very democratic pricing system. Community make their own prices.

So, PMDG could drop it now for 65$ and everyone is happy as we all thought it would be more expensive. They could also charge 80$ and everyone would be ok with now.

I think it might be to get a laugh at the amount of people who seriously think it is the purchase price 🙄
