Insane... I have a feeling this one just may be the one I get over PMDG's. From all accounts, the P3D iFly 737 is on par with PMDG in terms of systems. I have a feeling they just may end up with a better overall product.

The IFly Max was on par with PMDG in P3D they have definetely improved the product though for MSFS.

Some of the comparisons folks are trying to make between PMDG and iFly are a bit premature considering we haven't seen anything about the PMDG MAX and all we've seen in regards to iFly are static images and a brief video that toured the cabin. Makes a lot more sense to wait until we can see some actual evidence of each product in a complete and ready state. Until then, this is pure speculation one way or the other which will come out on top.

Would you be saying the same if PMDG had the Max in P3D

Yes, I would absolutely. My point has nothing to do with p3d or which developer released a product on that platform. I'm only saying that it's unnecessary to make comparisons between the two products when we haven't seen one and seen very little of the other. Why not wait until we actually have real information. I'm not persuading folks from not saying how great the images/video look of the iFly max, but I think it's extremely premature to even begin comparing a PMDG product to iFly on the MSFS platform when we have no information. That is as much of an unbiased, straight forward, and level headed thought I can give you on the topic.

Well it does because you kind of know what the standard it will be... With PMDG we expect the same sort of standard they have been doing with products since FSX days. But we can already see the comparison from the IFLY Max from P3D and its improved quite a bit.

Will be refreshing to see people switching from too many A320 to too many MAX 😅

Not a realistic wish but I'd love to see an in-depth DC-8 or 707 with the JT3s. No push button flying there!

This is one of the things that PMDG is lacking, innovation and coolness of certain features in their released products. I understand that PMDG is heavily invested in developing mega realistic systems (for the right reasons, no complaints here), but they are certainly lacking in other areas that will make people like me buy the iFly MAX and wait to see what comes with the default MAX from Microsobo.

Your wishes are not unrealistic at all!

Everyone is now obsessed with pax cabin and stuff. I'll come back when they show real things like LNAV/VNAV, Autoland, AP behaviour and all the stuff where the 737 PMDG is lacking. Still a promising product.

Apparently this worked perfectly fine in P3D, so it's not like these guys are n00bs in the industry.

I know them. Their P3D MAX was spot on. I'm just fed up of this pax cabin obsession which is affecting many devs atm ...

I just cannot warm up to this plane, not after all what happened. Not even in real life, sorry.
