I will probably seek to set up and install the stripped out (of Bloatware) version though. That was why i stuck with windows 10. It was easier to strip unnecessary stuff out. Will have to do the research in the mean time to prepare for the upgrade. I highly recommend the LTSC version. Completely stripped, official version so no third party tampering or scripts that need to be run, plus you only receive security updates, not feature updates. I'm the kind of guy that moves along with it, I check for updates regularly, may it be OS or drivers. I've never encountered problems and I'm definitely not Gladstone Gander. Come to think of it @Bobsk8 and others, would you stay at a specific release of MSFS if updates were not forced as they are now? Apples and Oranges, What does MSFS updates have to do with an OS???

If you are on a PC that windows 11 is not allowed on i would venture to say that more likely than not that they are due for an upgrade. TPM 2.0 has been out for a bit. I also suspect that if absolutely necessary the hardware module can be purchased and dropped in. Ive personally turned it off just to avoid the windows 11 upgrade nag. I guess its useful to block that upgrade reminder 🙂 Edited August 26, 20241 yr by Maxis AMD Ryzen 9800X3D/ Asus ROG Strix B650E F Gaming WiFi / Asrock Taichi 9070XT / 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 6000 / 2x ADATA XPG 8200 Pro NVME / Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 / Seasonic Vertex 1000w PSU / Lian Li LanCool II Mesh Performance / Asus VG34VQL3A / Topping E70 Velvet DAC & L70 Amp /Sennheiser HD660s2 Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke + TCA Sidestick + TFRP Rudders

LOL Why is an adult man of retirement age saying "LOL", it's cringyworthy Bob and crazy enough, imagine being able to extrapolate relevant, useful data like actual users within the simulation and gaming sphere as opposed to millions of office machines that will run whatever Windows was rolled out at the time is for another decade, same reason why Windows 7 was still being heavily used in office environments well beyond its expiry date. Same reason why developers use Steam data as their reference, because it's relevant, not what 10 million junk office machines are running. August 26, 20241 yr Whilst Zen 4 and Zen 5 processors seem to get around a 10% improvement, is thete anything in it for Zen 3 users or is that just wishful thinking? I'm not sure if this is an AMD thing or just of help to the newer chips. Edit: A bit of research suggests all AMD processors may get some benefit, but we will have to see how earlier ones do.
