That's a common fallacy. Viable and valuable input doesn't require any amount of disrespect for the work done, of which this thread is full and only serves to muddle things. Let's not mention misinformation on the pricing taken as fact, and the depressing mix of expletives and emotionally-charged wordings. 

No one here is actually providing any actual feedback on the product. People are just raging without much meaning to it.

Me happy with the release? I'm neutral. I don't gain or lose anything from it. Other people will certainly be happy to be able to get this aircraft at this price, with this feature set that fits their need, so good for them.

Why are you trying to criticize people's opinions?

It's worthless what you are trying to do. 

It's the community who invests money in products and they are all potential customers. That's something a company should consider to listen to and get a feeling about what the market is asking for. 

If they decide NOT to go that way and target other customers, BUT they get this kind of feedback on YouTube, Avsim etc., than my assumption is, that the expectations are NOT proper managed. That's also something a company should take into account and start acting. Because otherwise their is a risk loosing your BRAND. 

I'm sharing my opinion and hope aerosoft does listen to the community and start making great planes.

So, lets turn this logic around for once: because some are happy with low-quality rubbish, it is an issue to to actually say what it is? Just watch some of the now released videos... Aerosoft has a history and considering the story behind this plane and the fact how they treat customers in their official forums, the story about Kok and so on, it is absolutely logical that this release backfires on them now. Selfmade so to say... no pity from my side.

I was really hoping it was going to be different this time around. I thought because they were modeling the different engine variants, they would take more care of the other aspects of the aircraft. The approach phase not working correctly was a bug back in P3D, I can't believe it made it over to FS2020. The Flight sim community is crying out for a high-fidelity, modern long-haul Airbus. A definite missed opportunity for sure. I guess our hopes now lie with the FBW team and Inibuilds.

Aerosoft is an old and respectable company that has been producing or distributing excellent sceneries for a long time and which has a solid reputation in this business.
That's why I absolutely do not understand why they insist on producing complex planes when they have neither the skills nor the human resources to do so.
The "oldies" will remember the pitiful saga of the A3XX for FSX and P3D.

If I could give them one piece of advice it would be to forget about airplanes.

E.g. I was not shocked about the release of the SWS Kodiak, even though bang for bucks was not good enough for me so I did not buy it. But I was not shocked because of that.

Strange that people are shocked about a MSFS addon that they don't want.

The benchmark for this one is the LatinVfr A330.

 

They even hired a guy who should inform the community about new products etc. Why did he not inform prior release what this release is all about? 

Is het still active? Why this sudden surprise? I really don't understand what aerosoft is doing. 

Fewer features than the freeware Headwind A330 and asking people to pay for it, before any clarity over expansion release timelines or feature sets?

No, this isn't 'hating'. This is the market responding to this half word not allowed attempt at a payware product from a developer who used to provide an acceptable standard.

From watching BritishAV Geek. and EasyJetSimPilot, INIT REQUEST and Simbrief integration don't work. That is kinda low stakes for an airplane.

They came from another sim and they did make higher fidelity planes....(Also with issues but no where this kind of product as it is now). 

It raises questions....they did nothing to answer or manage expectations. 

In my OPINION they should have done that prior release to avoid wild assumptions.

They told you exactly what the product is down to a list of the features that are missing.

No one is being misled here.

And I'm sure this is the reason they have released anyway, to not have to pay back that money. Because german government does not make any further quality control normally. Otherwise they have probably cancelled that product. Who knows.

However, divide the half million through the number of german flightsimmers, I'm sure everyone of us could get a free copy.

 

I'm really annoyed by that joke. I really haven't expected much from Aerosoft, these days are over.
But to pay with my taxes for this BS really annoys me ...

AVsim is not "the community"

YouTubers are (definitely) not "the community."

Hardcore simmers represent only one-third of "the community." No product is good for the *whole* community. 

This has a pretty word not allowed good value proposition for at least one of the other two-thirds considering the price and features offered, not to mention the quality of the model. 

If you're incapable of sharing your opinion with respect for the people who worked hard on this, then I'll criticize it, as I've always done. If you don't like it, well, though luck.
