It is how it is today, your work is measured upon standards and those are set for MSFS in the last 4y. And this bird is clearly below regarding price and source. You defend devs for doing four years of hard work. Do you know that? Or is it just a plain assumption? And sorry to say, if this is the result of four years hard work, they might consider another job, developing MSFS addons it is not where their strenghts are. End of the story. It's been said a number of people who had a pre-release copy did mention to Aerosoft directly that they should not release it in it's current state. They also never once, did a million other things on that site worth mentioning. The last dev update was the exterior model. ** and now I see it's the actual product page. ** Imagine that. Jeff D. October 7, 20241 yr LVFR released the A330 looks way better and I guess the autothrottle actually works like it should.

October 7, 20241 yr Sorry to those who I offend but I find this release an absolute insult to MSFS and all those developers who work so hard and tirelessly as well as volunteer their own time and expertise.

It certainly isn't among the worst that have come out in the past 4 years and it isn't even close. It can't hold, it can follow the nav correctly, autothrust don't get me started on that list goes on it can not do basic things its bad if it can't do basics. You can't land it with the way autothrust is.
October 7, 20241 yr They're still putting out high quality and original scenery. The aircraft division by this point is doing them more long term harm than the money it's making now. Yanking stuff and letting the products that are still available rot isn't going to make for eager customers when you put something new out. It doesn't take much to deter buyers but they seem to be finding new methods all the time. A v strange way to chuck away a rep that's been built over many years.

Considering CS is priced similarly, and those were huge successes (as far as sales) within the community, a few patches and this will probably come to a decent standard. However, given the hyper focus on Airbus during FS2020's life cycle, I'm not going to buy it, though I do feel for the people that were genuinely anticipating a solid version of this plane. One company that will definitely not get another penny from me is FSS. Their Technam, 727, and E-Jet series have been awful. The version released circa 2019/2020 stands Heads and Shoulders above this MSFS version..why? Mathjis Kok, the original project lead for the A330 for MSFS at Aerosoft, was surprised that the scope of the A330 had expanded significantly when Aerosoft announced their plans for the A330 after he left the company. Looks like Aerosoft couldn't complete their work in time, before MSFS 2024's release and everybody that owns MSFS 2024 gets the iniBuilds A330 for free. My guess, as well as the guess of many others, is that Aerosoft cut their losses on a half done product, before a superior version of the iniBuilds A330 comes out next month. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
October 7, 20241 yr Author iFly handled their situation well. In the face of an Asobo Max that was well received by attendees of the the preview event, they set out (even before then) to offer us something we couldn't refuse. We haven't even gotten to see the Asobo/ini A330 in action yet but but it seems like Aerosoft has thrown in the towel already.
