October 8, 20241 yr The Aerosoft discord is on fire right now and the poor Rafi might have the worst job of the world. People expect a statement from Aerosoft. But what would it change? Unless you are an investor in Aerosoft, they owes us nothing. Yes the aircraft is a dispointment but we are all adults, able to vote with our wallet. Nobody is forcing us to buy that aircraft. If they had a pre-order like TFDi did with the MD-11, I could understand those claims but it's not the case. People who bought that aircraft yesterday or today probably already know the state of the aircraft and bought it knowingly. It becomes a witch hunt with people firing on the ambulance to have fun. Let's just move on and let's hope the Asobo/Ini A330 will be better (it shouldn't be too difficult)
October 8, 20241 yr This is a product that doesn't need to exist on my machine. I am switching to 2024 day one and this is going to be covered way better by iniBuilds. I think theirs is the only A330 I will need. I will get the Toliss one for XP12 as well.

October 9, 20241 yr I really looked forward to this 330 3 years ago. It’s absolutely ridiculous how this turned out. Aerosoft is done Lukas Dalton
October 10, 20241 yr No different than what they pulled with the Twin Otter. This company simply cannot compete today. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

The twin otter and the CRJ's had so much potential. They got my money a couple of times but I won't buy ANYTHING Aerosoft again. They pulled the Twin Otter because it was being remade for MSFS2024 They just couldn't say that at the time because the sim hadn't been announced yet. Edited October 10, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
October 10, 20241 yr Last night I just realized the A333 had been released after watching ITBsim. Surprisingly, nearly all YT reviews are in the same opinion about the release. It's sad knowing Aerosoft don't perform well in MSFS. They used to create some of the best addons in FS9 and FSX. Porting the Lightning or PBY Catalina would be enough to have a good start. I hope they step up the game in no time. October 10, 20241 yr Bought the A330 base pack-yes, it’s disappointing so far and needs a plethora of improvements to bring it up to the standard of the P3D A330 which I enjoyed but I was able to do a quick flight in the A330 out of Fly2High Valley International Airport-KHRL and handling with my TCA sidestick is A-OK. Yeah, the cabin is awful and an afterthought just like with Aerosoft’s own CRJ unlike the excellent cabin of say the iFly MAX 8 or even the JF 146 Professional which at first too had an awful cabin but Just Flight redid the cabin and now it’s nice! Me? I do like virtual cabins even ones with virtual passengers seated like with LatinVFR’s Airbus or the seated passengers on supported planes with GSX Peo but most of the time for me, I’m focused on daily A to B operations in the virtual cockpit. I mainly use GSX Pro for my pushback needs but the A330’s EFB pushback screen is handy in a pinch. Initial reviews (read: anyone mentioning the A330 anywhere) were annihilating. And I'm 90% sure this is already abandonware, getting maybe one or two small updates and then left to die after the release of MSFS 2024 (like the CRJ, or even worse). For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
October 10, 20241 yr What a pity, really, I was expecting something... When I think back to FSX I was actually very happy with the Aerosoft A330, well it wasn't “study level” but still between good and study level in my opinion and that was OK. It doesn't necessarily have to be study level, but as mentioned above, medium or slightly better would have been a viable approach for me. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be.. cheers 😉 Edited October 10, 20241 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
