Is there a big update on the way soon? I read something earlier but cant find it. Holiday here tomorrow and then a first trip EKCH-LPPT is planned.

Any hardware support like CPFlight or Winwing?

There was an update to iFly manager when I loaded it this morning. I love the aircraft but for one thing that I hope they solve quickly. When I change views or go from full screen to windowed screen I lose the port engine in flight. I have to switch to full screen mode for my VR not to crash but when I step away from the puter I switch back to windowed and I always seem to lose the port engine and I cannot restart it. Have any of you experienced the same?

I would say basically nothing flat-out "doesn't work".  There are things that can be improved, but not really any more so than a lot of airplanes that have been out for years and are considered decent

  • **We are now releasing version 1.0.0.** This announcement replaces the previous one from a few days ago. The changelog is also replaced. First, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed

  • Another "take 80% of the item, pay 100% and then we'll see" product. Even if i wanted this (it's just another boring 737, so skip anyway) i wouldn't buy it. This is getting out of hand, now even

this from just a bit further above can be read as there is 1 patch coming and the final release v1 by the launch of MSFS2024 when they start working on the 2024 port:

as per hardware, I use the MiniFCU with Mobiflight, works pretty well some minor "issues" like speed is only shown as dashes and altitute can only be set in increments of 100s. but all fine

The update is still in the work but should not be that long anymore.. ( discord )

Does anyone know if Comm 2 works. Trying to listen to ATIS on COM 2 with no success.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if its a bug.

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

Finally was able to utilize Simbrief profile - good! The bad thing is GSX profile is totally misaligned. The plane wings height should be adjusted to obtain proper fueling vehicle, also progressive refueling does not work as it does with PMDG or Fenix. Any recommendations in this matter?

As for progressive refueling I do exactly the same as in the PMDG (or at least as I did before GSX made this happen automatically): Once the GSX fuel truck coinnects and prompts to "load fuel via EFB", I go into the EFB weight & balance page, enter the total fuel and hit "set fuel". Then GSX fuels progressively (although the actual fuel is instantly added to the plane, just like in the PMDG)

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

There is Simbrief integration. Flightplan and wind data. What else do you need?

Does anything need to be done in order for wind data to be imported? In the Fenix I think it's done via the INIT page. I've seen in the MAX that there is a "forecast" option in the VNAV page - is that what I use?

Thanks, I'll have a look at this on my next flight!

There are three different places to load winds.

The first is in the perf init page; it has space for one wind entry.  Most people use top of climb wind here.  It can be uplinked with the rest of the perf data in reality, but not currently in the iFly, so this is a manual entry.

Second place is the cruise winds, on the Legs --> Rte Data page.  These winds CAN be uplinked via the Request prompt.

Third page is descent winds, on the Descent --> Forecasts page, as it sounds like you found.  These winds can also be uplinked via the request prompt.

No wind entries are required; the box will just assume zero wind component for the whole flight for time, fuel, and VNAV path calcs.

Guess not -  and i now understand why 🙂  simply  - i  setup my PMDG controller setup and all works as is 🙂

The RF SID ODN3A from EKCH was done nicely . I do stay away from Vatsim 🙂 They apreciated it i know guys.

The Performance in CRZ FL360 above the island FYN (in Denmark)is great - i have to recycle camera sometimes to regain performance? - otherwise small stutters) going from Drone to VC but simular to others.

Any 737 Lovers go a head

You'll probably find you want to change your reverse thrust binding.  If you use the one in the PMDG where you hold a button and then operate your throttles for reverse thrust, you'll find that works strangely in the iFly.  What I've done for now is re-bind my reverse thrust levers/buttons to "decrease thrust".

Exactly, here is a video that explains how. Don’t skip the Sensitivity settings as explained from 5:50 forwards.

Good point! Thanks for confirming that, as I have yet to try the 'Max. I also have "Decrease Thrust" bound on my PMDG setup for the "Flightsim Factory" 737 Levers (Honeycomb Bravo).

EDIT: Sorry, Correction, I have the "Reverse Levers" bound to "Hold Throttle Reverse Thrust", NOT "Decrease Thrust". For some reason "Decrease Thrust" did not work with my setup.
