I hope the streaming servers are different to the installation server or this is not going to be very good. Both times I loaded the sim after the installation it took 20min to load and all the textures are fuzzy.

This is going to take a few months to sort out. People need to have patience. And once people CAN load the sim another massive list of issues will be reported. It will be a long process just like 2020. Patience is a virtue. No, really!

Honestly this is why they should have done a beta. I knew this was going to happen and never understand why Devs are so hardheaded.

Was most likely the suits directing them though.

In the tech Alpha, I learned to wait after hitting FLY. That way the jitters all went away during the flight. But the wait was only about 3 minutes. From then on, everything was smooth and quick. That's the tradeoff of having stuff in the cloud that used to be local.

Ill keep that in mind when i get around to doing my install tonight.

Where are the brave guys who uninstalled MSFS 2020 yesterday?

Yup, played around with the flight planner. Bye bye Navigraph. MSFS put 80 dollars into my pocket!

Yeah, the planner looks totally awesome! It doesn't seem to automatically create flights with SID and STAR though... I had to manually add stuff and delete stuff... rather cumbersome and not too intuitive. But it'll get better. (Or I'll get better at it LOL)

I do think it needs the sim to run in order to load things... Still can't make any sense of it all.

Yeah, it had to be the suits pushing to get this out the door asap. The alpha had issues. The influencer preview event had issues. And then no beta? Yeah, this was destined for a rough launch. Just need patience!

Microsoft are well used to getting negative stuff chucked at them, just lob it out there and rake in the money, sort it out as we go along. That is really how much of the industry in gaming is. There is enough free attack dogs who will blindly shout down any negative stuff on forums like this.

For sure it should not have gone this way, no one at ASOBO went to sleep last night imagining this, all big youtubers sat there for hours looking at loading screen...

Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX 2070 8GB / 2x8 RAM/

Over two hours and still no go. And I am done staring at the planner too, nice as it is. (Beautiful charts!!!)

Okay, I'll give it a try. Going to restart my PC... let's see what happens!

It is very possible. They could have had a beta and the first 25k or 100k get it. But that ship has sailed.

You know what I think.

I compare it with a climax. They wanted it hyped so much... that everyone would buy this sim!!

A bèta would only break the hype. And guess what!! The suits are now having it counting their dollars in a pocket.

Money ejaculating machine to get it hyped without bèta. But very selfish and word not allowed to people who have heart and passion to actually 'play'/simulate it.

It goes over our backs as usual.

Edit: after restart 97% loading unusually long: log saved to report -loading.

Some genius thought of this. Was he sitting under CEO's desk?

it shouldn't be like that though Rob, why have a learning curve when things are not learnt.
