I had no issues for an hour or so, other than the horrendous controller configuration. Geeze, could that configuration be any weirder?

Were they trying to make the controller config more "upity intellectual" than it really should be, and I would say YES.

Other than that, I had 2 big disappointments, the PG and the Clouds. The PG looks the same as before, and the clouds, well different but not necessarily better.

Otherwise, at ground level the game does look much better, but beyond that, I don't see a huge difference.

Honestly, a bit of a money grab at these prices. Not saying entirely, we'll see, but a little for sure.

Controller configs are very confusing.  Sensitivity settings are so different and my Microsoft FF2 seems limp and uncontrollable.  I cannot figure out how to make my Hat switch work to PAN around my cockpit and outside.  Learning curve will take time, I'm sure.

I forgot to mention the trees do look much better in some cases, but I need to fly a different area. I flew the Salt Lake City area first and that area doesn't look that great, so I highly recommend still using Utah Enhanced (my own plug, sorry). Maybe I will get time to add more to UE, or maybe i will not, depends. I have to learn the DEV environment for this and that may take a bit.

I made it for 5 mins, did all the set up stuff, asked me to log out to import the stuff from 2020 that's compatible. Cannot get back in lol

I wish I had left the game loaded, but it would have kicked me out for inactivity. Should have used a macro. Cannot get in now either, this is pretty ridiculous considering the price of the game. The bean counters always win out, it is blatantly obvious they oversold / under engineered the servers.

Or underestimated the load they would get.

I purchased and installed about 5 minutes after release earlier today. Install went without a hitch and I was able to boot up the sim normally and decided to check out the Saab 340. I completed the walk around, but unfortunately the sim crashed upon entering the cockpit 🤦‍♂️.

They own Azure, load shouldn't matter, they could have just re-routed the traffic and added more cores.

I mean sheesh, they have the fastest servers available. It's probably a network code threading issue.

Still sending me to the queue screen...

Same.  I got past it twice to Loading Languages 0%.  Then it errors out.  Now I'm back at the regular grey Q haha
