  • I have a hotfix its called MSFS2020.

  • Well I'm moving over to Train Sim World 5, for a while.  If I am going to watch a train wreck, I might as well be in the right simulator for it.

  • Well, all of this chaos was fully expected (by me). That's why waiting and watching all of it unfold. Pretty similar to FS2020 on release.

Not really surprising NEWS but good to know. I wouldn't have expected otherwise. It would have been important and breaking news (and worth a topic) if a hotfix would NOT come soon... 😉

'A lot of issues'. Wonder which, specifically.

Not a hotfix needed but a burning one !

There should be a poll somewhere on the FS forums...

The hotfixes are prepared when the product is launched. It's a brand strategy to get customers hooked. There are usually two  hotfix the product starts to look like what you wanted to buy.

Yeah there was reports of a Day One patch prior to release so I guess they got delayed what with the current server shambles.

Yes, and even that took 3 years before folks stopped (within reason) moaning about it. 😂

The ups and downs are all part of fun, lads (not unlike owning an actual plane and dealing with FBOs, weather, finances, wife, other commitments when the WX is good ...).👍

True I've got 2024 running and it looks like a cartoon obviously things will improve. My only gripe is its not ready but its better than P3D already 😀

I was expecting some chaos but not this much. I was expecting busy servers but it seems the software itself contains errors that should have been cought:

The first aircraft I tried when I finally jumped in the cockpit was the Cessna 172 classic. I couldn't get the engine to start, the prop did not even turn over. Then I switched to the Cessna 152. There at least the prop turned, but the engine did not catch. On top of that, I had only environmental sounds, no doors, switches or engine.

I was able to make one short flight in the Cessna 172 G1000, but I had to cancel it once in the air because my bed was waiting for me.

Display: Acer Predator x34 3440x1440 | Speakers: Logitech Z906
Controllers: Fulcrum One Yoke | MFG Crosswind v2 pedals | Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant |Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant | Stream Deck XL & Plus | TrackIR 5 Tobii eye tracking

I hope they post the Hotfix to us on a USB stick, because I seriously doubt that I'll be able to download it anytime before Christmas.

Did you take the engine covers off, if not the engine will crank but will not light off. You need to at least remove pitot covers and engine covers in your walkaround
