This was the only thing missing for me with the FENIX, and I’m super excited about it!

Look at that feature list. 

Simulating how much heat a human gives off and how much insulation is in the cabin. 

You really have to be some special kind of Nerd to become a sim aircraft developer. 

Also, I like how on one hand, you have PMDG blaming Asobo (as usual) for everything and throwing a tantrum because they can't release for 2024. Then yet again Fenix just 1-ups them immediately and releases a big update including 2024 compatibility. 

It's almost comical at this point.

It's likely that Fenix were able to port their add-on to MSFS 2024 faster because they are using an external flight model and external process.  I have read reports that A2A's Comanche also works well in MSFS 2024 even though A2A didn't release any patches to convert the Comanche to MSFS 2024, probably because A2A is also using an external flight model that is less tied to the MSFS SDK (but I don't think A2A is using an external process anymore because they are selling their Comanche on XBox, and I believe the XBox sandbox does not allow an external process to run).

I was just thinking the same thing. PMDG constantly blames everybody else for their update - or lack of them, while RSR gives loong-winded lectures about difficult everything is and vague excuses for their delays. 

Then Fenix just releases an update a week after launch, which not only makes their planes work, but also takes advantages of some of their new features... you gotta love Fenix and Aamir!

Eh, I trust PMDG that MS didn't ship the C++WASM code. That said, I also think the legacy code base for PMDG is really starting to catch up to them with the issues they had with SU15 and now MSFS24.

Fenix using external code really helped them.

 

 

Did anyone actually got it working? Because for me it installed well, however in MSFS, I get absolutely no power or anything. I can click the switches, but they are not lighting up.
