That was like that before this patch to avoid conflicts that were occurring.

Mine is still like that after the patch.

It would be cool to request for the lights to be raised at tower airports and managed through the radios at non-towered ones, but I have yet to see that in any sim yet…

Yeah I'd love to see pilot controlled lighting at uncontrolled and multiple intensity runway and approach lights at towered.  I highly doubt that will ever make it to MSFS.

Honda Jet screens no longer dark… have to check fuel flow problem at another time when I can’t get it up to altitude…

Does the PC24 work on PC???  Can you retract the gear??

It appears to work!  Switches seem to move too!  Granted this was only a quick test but this plane is why I bought the deluxe version so hopefully good days ahead

Edit - it also appears to have updated in the background when I wasn't even running MSFS, not sure if that was expected....

The option to download aircraft to run locally! ARGHHHH

Not yet. You can see the download size and that's it. The feature is not available as far as I understood. Somebody said it will be at the moment they activate Simmarket.

The bunch of jörgs! 👎🏻

Yea, that is what I understand. And that has now been pushed off until the first quarter of 2025! Clearly the compatibilities checking was far from complete at launch.

There is a wishlist item for it on the official forums (in case you haven't seen it).

Yes, the light disparity between cockpit and outside environment for auto sensing aircraft models has been corrected.  Gauge lighting is also working now.

Per fuel burn. Interested in what you see.  With Addons Linker conveying my 2020 install of the Hjet over to 2024, I experienced about a 3% to 8% increase in fuel burn at various altitudes from FL320 to FL 400.  But more recent tracking showed me 10% to 12% higher consumption for total flights, including climb to and descent from cruise.  Others who installed the Hjet direct into 2024 itself I have read reports of 2X to 3X burn.

I had carefully logged Hjet fuel burn in MSFS2020 at a range of flight levels to adjust the flight planning performance table I use at Fltplan.com, a real-world aviation flight planning site.  That table had produced spot-on burn forecasts for my flight plans in 2020.

I will test tomorrow on two flights of 2+ hours.

Servers handled this update, no sweat.

Gotta give them a gold medal and a pat on the back that after 4.5 years in business they were able to roll out a 4gb patch without a hiccup, lol.

Am I remembering wrong or were the ATR's not enabled before today?  They show up as disabled now and every time I selected them, enable, and exit and restart they're disabled still.  Also weirdly getting a "last session ended unexpectedly" every time I start it, but no errors in Event Viewer except for afc_bridge because I don't have my Bravo connected right now.

edit:  Finally the ATR enabled, not sure what's up with the sim thinking it crashed though.

I will test tomorrow

As will I, have to get to bed for an early work start tomorrow…

I’ll report back!

Finally we exited from Alpha build 0.8.65.63.636.88 and entered Alpha build 0.8.65.63.636.89

🙂

On a lighter note. PADU from NorthernSkyStudios works nicely in the new sim as well.

Glad they are getting their **** together.
