Carenado claims it delivered a "working plane" to Asobo. But we all know what CareNOdo means by "working". Hopefully there will be a "PC24 Modification and Improvement Project" on the way soon.

December 11, 20241 yr I'm home with a cold, so I have some time on my hands to do some gaming. Updated the sim and took a short flight with the Cirrus Vision Jet (Asobo's version). I noticed smoother performance and higher framerates, with little to no stuttering. Took an early morning flight, and the visuals are just stunning. Absolutely no comparison to MSFS 2020. Great job, Asobo!

Not making that mistake again.. Back I go after an hour. Turn down your settings. On medium/high settings (optimized by Nvidia) I'm getting around 40-60 fps. This is on my Nvidia 3060TI. And with addon airports.
December 11, 20241 yr And medium/high in 2024 still looks way better than ultra everything on 2020. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

Probably it was changed automatically by the copilot while I was fiddling after the ATC requested me a change, even though I have no AI assistance at all set. Strange. For a manual fix, refer to this post: Also not fixed is the trim behavior and some lights acting funny for no apparent reason (Master caution, LE flaps sometimes staying for a while, N2 turning to 0% once finished motoring, then going back instantly to the real value after opening the fuel valve...). These are minor issues, the biggest one is the maneuverability, possibly caused by the buggy trim, because if you need manual intervention during the approach/landing phase you have to be lucky not to crash... Still the occasional CTD when changing liveries also... and it always resets to business jet. Apart from the 737 Max, I noticed a net general improvement with this patch (performance, pop in, terrain, even the ATC requests to descend once passed the T/D!). Still not fixed the annoying ATC window not showing the last communication and the error downloading air traffic that pops up from time to time. And surely many other things I haven't seen yet. December 11, 20241 yr 3.9GB patch here. Installed just fine. Fired up the COWS DA42 VI for a flight between ENTC- ESKM (tanks fully loaded) On my end with a 6 yo setup I notice better performance, less stutters. But I don't use VR, and I just have a few USB devices and only fly GA in VFR/Low IFR so I'm not a "complex user" with many dependencies. EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12
