You could use the 777 CDU for the newer NG and MAX, they are virtually the same except for one or two buttons and the color. That said, no idea if you can configure and use this with other aircraft as you can with the FCU. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
January 1, 20251 yr Commercial Member Completely different price point but I got this new A320 MCDU from Cockpit Simulator yesterday and I am left speechless. Full metal, single USB-C connection and amazing adjustable stand. Their software is great and works. The metal feel and the button are just so realistic. I just wish WinWing would improve their SimPro App...It's far from the best. It’s clunky with airbus due to the differences. January 1, 20251 yr This is very interesting indeed. I would be hard pressed to choose one right now. I've been trying to decide if I want to focus on Airbus or Boeing aircraft. I want to give each equal time to see which flow I prefer. Once I've done that Ill think about getting one of these. It sure would add to the immersion factor.

January 1, 20251 yr Back to Win Wing and Simapp I find that Simapp controls all the Airbuses it was designed for flawlessly. When 2024 came out, things were about 95% perfect on release and 100% within a week. As far as customizing anything, forget about it. That's the same cost as all of my other peripherals put together, and for one airplane, one model. Edited January 1, 20251 yr by mspencer

Unfortunately the equation has changed now that my great old Reverb G2 is about to get arbitrarily killed by Windows 10 sunsetting. I got a Pimax Crystal Light which quickly showed me my 3070Ti just doesn't cut it anymore, but prices on top-tier 4x and 5x cards are, frankly, absurd. 4090s are going for about what I paid for my first car and indications are the 5 series is going to be even worse even before any potential tariffs get imposed. It's a ridiculous cash grab, and I keep hoping AMD will come through with some real competition but so far that hasn't materialized. So true the prices of cards to run vr good is nuts now and most likely worse later much cheaper to just build without the vr now lucky with winwing we can build the simpit cheaper all i would have to make on my side the the mip and the windows if i really wanted to go all out.
