Nvidia 572.16 Driver Released - DLSS 4 Support

Featured Replies

So i tried to follow most of the info and I get super resolution in 2020 but not in 2024. Does it work in 2024.

Im trying to follow how to use preset J or K, but I don't see them in Nvidia inspector. In the other section I have several 'override various DLSS" options but I'm not clear how to change them or what to. I have a 3080 card. Do you just change them from 00 to 01?

here is everything you need
https://mega.nz/file/M8U1BKJT#kCGzKhwPOgNRLV3OR9W5RvmUN6bvwrlAlaGtUHdNhc4

contains.

latest dlss dlls
310.2.1 DLSS
310.2 FG
310.2 RR

custom xml to unlock preset J and K in profile inspector

and reg edit files to enable or disable dlss hud to check which preset is enabled (may need to restart PC to take effect the first time enabling).

I downloaded the files and tried to import the DLSS.dll into DLSS Swapper. It says it imported but the latest does not show up in the apps library.

I have restarted Swapper but still shows the latest as 310.1

It's in the common section and you ned to use preset J for DLSS4 to work

You don’t need to do anything with swapper as far as I am aware with those files. My understanding is that it is forced on globally following the above instructions, therefore when doing that, it’s using the DLL files provided in the nvidia folder and not the ones in the msfs folder?

strange. different file size from official version, product name, file description, file version and developer info missing from properties tab. suspicious? I won't use it anyway.

very nice.

So I've seen the pictures and my 5-common section doesn't have The dlss files listed or as shown. I downloaded  and installed the new driver and the  NVapp and then used Swapper to download the 310.1 files.

How do i get the Dlss options to show up in section 5-common of inspector? Do i have to manually move the files to a directory?

You need to download 'CustomSettingNames.xml file into your Nvidia Profile Inspector folder.

Sorry to be so obtuse... but I downloaded the files you posted...now what should I do with them?

So is it a bug on the Nvidia side or something on the Asobo side that in the app for 2020 I can set Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution but in 2024 they are greyed out and say not supported?

Do I need to download something else or just fail back to old manual process for 2024?  Why would they show as supported in 2020 but not supported in 2024?  Seems backwards.

Download latest version of nvidiaProfileInspector.

Go to the game you wish to change.

Change these settings:

Enable DLSS-SR override - 0x00000001

Override DLSS-SR presets - 0x00FFFFFF

(uses latest which is Preset K

It is a good method to apply the override on unsupported games, and games that don't show on the Nvidia App, like Game Pass games, without the need to replace the dlls with DLSS Swapper.
