I have no idea what are you talking about, and if you won't provide Concrete evidence to support your claims, you are not but defaming my good name, sir.

You have no good name to defame. We have been over this before in regards how you conducted yourself on that discord server and here as well.

You managed to get that last thread locked by a mod. And now you start that drama all over again.

Working on getting banned here as well, eh?

No complaints about batc myself, not denying that people have experienced problems but it's been working very well for me so far.
The one issue I had which was my own fault btw was solved on their discord within 10 minutes of me providing them with the log file so again when it came to support there I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I tried SI's trial mainly for their entourage option but I couldn't get that working properly myself, maybe that feature wasn't in the trial as I only had options to use ATC.  I may be wrong on this front as well but I couldn't see an option in SI to not use a mic, I don't want to use a mic and speak to my pc.
I'm using batc with its auto reply and/or manual selections but that's how I prefer to use atc even though I know I'm probably not making the most of it by not using my voice.

are you serious.... ?

re-read my original post again (yes-reread and then do it again). I fully expect an apology for this.

You assume I had an attitude on their server...(I didn't).
You use the word bash, yet I only conveyed my user experience trying to use their product.

Is this how you conduct in real life - concluding facts based on 'feelings' ,assumptions and other inaccuracies  ? I'll bet you don't, so why do it here? because it's easier ?

So, you won't use their support channel, but complain to not get support ?

What hinders you to join their discord?

"**More on vectors from the above patch notes**: Our old vector engine was hit and miss when it came to vector instructions. 70% of the time, when it worked, it worked very well, and 30% of the time when it failed it failed badly. ....

It just seems like if a DP, STAR and a full publish approach could be filed and flown with a "cleared for the STAR" and "Cleared for the Approach" with Vectoring being the fallback to not wanting the full approach, then it would be so much better. Vectoring is nice but that seems to take more compute power where flying a published basically puts you on the runway.

I've been having fun with BATC flying my C510. I never get a change of runway or an approach and I still enjoy it!

Sorry you're not happy with your purchase.

Entourage is not an option with their free OpenSky option. You are correct, there are no keyboard/mouse option for talking with ATC as that platform is focused on mimicking the real world. However, with the full version you can have a co-pilot and have them do all the radio work. In addition, you can communicate with the co-pilot and they will pass on what you say. As an example, when I want a certain approach I will just tell the co-pilot the approach and from what fix and they will say, "Copy, I will ask for ABC Approach from XYZ" to me and then they will make the request with ATC.

PLEASE, folks ... can we stop the playground personal attacks? I'm a happy user of BATC and would love to see constructive criticism not swamped by off-topic noise.

I've beta-tested a fair few sim-related products, so I'm well aware of what "in development" means - and it's been well explained by the BATC devs. We should know what to expect.

My observation is that very much depends on:

1) The quality of flight plan information provided by Simbrief (the old/free data in my case). Sometimes, the plans simply don't match with what you get in the sim at all. Not surprising, considering how old the free data is.

2) As regards taxiing and takeoffs, the quality of the airport (default or addon) can really mess things up. Taxiways may not join up correctly etc.

That said, I've found that taxiing aircraft DO respond to my aircraft getting in the way. Quite fun to stooge around the apron to see it happening. I may be plain lucky, but I've yet to see AI aircraft collide (or get superimposed) at gates, on taxiways, or on runways.

If I monitor the BATC comms page as I fly, I'm finding that I *do* get stepped up and down for climb outs or descents. However - depending on how good the Simbrief data is, connections to STAR approaches can sometimes be weird ... BUT that happens without BATC as well.

BTW: As regards stuttering - I got that just as badly with FSLTL Traffic Injector (when that worked).

Overall, I like the BATC interface - and can see a lot of potential .. I'm sticking with it!

Perhaps I'm a bit slow, but I fail to understand how is this screenshot serves as any kind of proof. one obvious issue that comes to mind is that my nickname here lacks a '4'...

Please do better.

1) I never wrote collide - I wrote that AI traffic uses same taxi path headed in the opposite direction.

2) now that you mentioned it, the AI traffic push back operation is also poorly executed as the aircrafts I noticed that were pushed back moved way too fast than normal and spinned like helicopter rotors.

Yes (sorry) - quite right. I should have said "on collision course" or something similar ... and I *do* see that happening, but not *that* often - maybe because most of my BATC flights so far have been from payware airports (mainly in NZ) and they're maybe better implemented than default Asobo ones.

Also, these taxiway errors were there for me with FSLTL Injector, prior to using BATC, so maybe the problem is common to any AI injector (so far at least).

None of BATC staff are afraid to receive feedback and often acknowledge it.

That is not 100% accurate. Most people on the server are giving them “atta boy’s.” When it comes to criticism, the folks I’ve interacted with have generally had a tone of defensiveness and belittlement, save for Captain. He’s pleasant to talk to, very receptive, and helpful.

BATC has promise, but they would greatly benefit from listening to real pilots and controllers.
