I think a lot of the issues stem from addons. An internal QA team will test a completely clean install to make sure nothing obvious breaks out of the box. Afterwards it's exactly what the public beta

Yup - I reverted back to the official version because of that.

How to did you do the revert?

It's a pretty huge list and although I don't know how much of that I'm going to notice in my flying, I am certainly hopeful that some of the fixes and SDK work can open doors up for the dev's on projects, that's my main hope. But I don't know if these updates are likely to improve life for them or not. Any devs want to comment?

The UserCFG.opt file is adding a new line at the end that makes other apps unable to find the community folder. You can delete it, but it keeps coming back.

I wonder what that line does?  Is it important enough to cause such an issue?  Hopefully Asobo can do something about in on their end rather than all devs who rely on finding the Community Folder needing to make adjustments.

I don't know what it is supposed to do, and it wasn't there before. I'm guessing they put it there for some reason....maybe.

no crashes for me yet, community folder is not empty

That is an incredible amount of work! It is so nice to see flight sim getting this much development time and new innovation.

Specs: 11900K (5ghz), 64GB ram 3600mhz, RTX 3080 ti

My video drivers hard crashed when I tried disabling the Discord overlay, which reenabled itself for some reason, while 2024 was running.

I had to force restart my PC, my screens went black and wouldn’t come back

All we can do is hope it lasts.

What about VR? This was touted as the major TLC that VR was hoping for!

Any feedback on the VR front?

EFB still broken and so is the Mouse when returning from the menu, absolute schoolboy issues that a 5 year old could fix, never mind two of the highest "voted" bugs so yet again proving bug reporting & voting mean absolutely nothing. After seeing that I just quit again, not gonna waste my time reporting anything to them about VR.
