edit again:  I can confirm DR is also borked with the 2024 native aircraft.  For example I entered N445CM for the tail number on my CJ4.  In the sim it shows up on the tail with a white N44.  hehe.

Showing the full thing on my end, but yeah it's white.

I think a lot of the issues stem from addons. An internal QA team will test a completely clean install to make sure nothing obvious breaks out of the box. Afterwards it's exactly what the public beta

Oh really?  That's interesting.  Wonder why mine isn't.  Do you run any addons?

OOOHH WEEE!!

AMD Radeon Card holders rejoice!! In game framegen has entered the chat !!!.  The driver level frame gen was pretty darned good and saved us for a long time but TAA + Motion Vector aka "in game" enhanced framegen ?? Completely ghost free and still smooth as silk !!

I didn't even bother with the FSR part ... just TAA + the framegen please thank you !!

Now to figure out the best way to lock the frames down .. i don't need 144 fps 😁

How about this? Any noticeable changes?

I still remember they promised Maxar aerials. I was so naive...

Just flew the default A320 from NZAA to NZWN - can confirm that Bijans trees work no issues, and MiniCockpit alsp worked...both FCU and EFIS..

Do i then make another folder the same name or can i rename this one and let the sim create another? Sorry for the questions.. not been down this track before...

I would just move all of the folders in the location shown in My Library path to another folder on your desktop or something like that. That way, MSFS won't know where they are because the path is different. And then enter the beta and then when it's first started up it will make new folders with the same name in the old location. And so msfs will fly without issues (but without all those packages you moved out). And then move the folders back where they were and see if msfs runs OK.

Hi, everyone,

I have a problem. After the SU2 Beta update, I can't place any aircraft on the parking.

The circle goes around and around forever, and the airport doesn't load.

Anybody with this issue?

Greetings

I had the spinning circle a couple of times. Exit program, shutdown reboot solved for me.

If it's an aircraft like the A350 from Inibuilds, every time there's an update, the wasm files need to rebuild. I was around 8 mins yesterday for the first run, the circle does just keep spinning during this period. If you don't let it complete, you will never get it loaded. Same will happen first run on PMDG etc. After this initial set up, mine loads in about 2mins

The UserCFG.opt file is adding a new line at the end that makes other apps unable to find the community folder. You can delete it, but it keeps coming back.

Well, only those which assumed the "InstalledPackagesPath" keyword would always be on the last line, which is a bit naive.

Agreed, however, there is a second small issue, which is that changing the Community folder location in the game
does not update the Usercfg.opt file, so it stays at the appdata location.
That's fine, if the installation is default, but not good if it isn't.
Manually editing the Usercfg.opt to point to the correct location seems to solve the problem.
