I've been curious about this one that's "in development" on JustFlight's website. Might be something to fill the APL void? Though who knows when it'll be out.

Thanks for the heads-up, signed up done.

Does it track flight and evaluate your flight performance?

Yes it can track your flights and has a landing rate tool as well. Please keep in mind that this is fairly new so I am working on making it better daily but I am solo developer 🙂

Thanks! Do you need FSUIPC for tracking?

DHL is a hard one because their flights are mainly operated under different Cargo operators, which are included in iFly Schedules.

Nope. Keep in mind that right now it's only for MSFS 2020 & MSFS 2024.

OnAir is pretty good and has become much more flexible. They now have a charter option where you can fly for RL airlines, quite similar to APL.

Subscription based, not my cup of tea.

I shelfed APL a long time ago. I just want to fly where I want. I am a "Senior" Captain so I should be able to build my own schedules or at least have more control. Hitting regenerate over and over and over again was a ridiculous concept. That is nothing like what real airline pilots do. Also I never understood why there was no logic in the schedules as in none of the scheduled flights ever went in sequence. I get that you want to allow pilots to fly at whatever time they want during the day or night without restrictions but airlines are generally a "scheduled" operation so why is one flight landing at 2025z and the next flight is departing at 1300z. Once you realize APL was just a glorified mission generator it was easy to move on from it as there is too many airports I have purchased and seldom fly to because of using APL.

I'm not in the discord anymore but I remember the top voted suggestion at the time was allowing users to generate a long haul schedule with less than 10 flights. Yeah nothing ever came of that. So if you accepted 10 long hauls you are stuck with them if you don't have any money for skips. Also you cant apply for a new job for 7 whole days! Oh btw they don't answer on weekends 😑APL was way too restrictive in all the wrong ways for me. But hey, we have A Grand Tour! Idk who asked for that....

I have to give credit to APL to get me to flying in so many routes I wouldn't have otherwise.  After making many requests to add a range element to schedules I finally gave up as they were not responsive to those requests but thankfully they implemented the 'Tools' menu which took care of that issue where one can set up miles ranges to confine the route search options to.  I'll still keep it installed if only to use that option.

Exactly that! I was trying to communicated regarding this to APL some time ago and received hard "NO". APL is great concept that fell a bit short 😞

I still fly APL for the slightly weird way I choose my flights, which gets me all around the world.

I start in a certain spot, and decide how long I want to fly for.

I then go to "tools", and generate a random flight, using the aircraft, airport and time I want to fly for.

I then fly the route, and then repeat the step from where I just landed.

It's taken me all over the world.  I'm currently in Chengdu, China.  I appreciate it's a slightly strange way of using the program though.  If I want to do a seven hour flight, if I'm in a big hub I can.  If I only have time for a one hour flight, I can, and I've been all over the world.
