Most simmers, and I regard  those non simmers as part or the avsim hobby.

Its ok. Crank the volumne to 11 and the sim will adapt.

The sim is software and you are humane.

Guys.  Why do you continue to rinse, lather and repeat?  Before any more replies read the very first post and ensure your reply is topical.  Almost seems impossible this thread will not end up locked.

  • Goodness me, what does it matter this level of pedantry on something so minuscule? What do you hope to achieve here with this discrepancy?

I’ll take the word of the Tollis developer, and his wife, over any other announcement.

I took you off ignore because I KNEW you would chime in with your usual veiled insults, behind my back, thinking I still had you on ignore. Tells me a lot about you.
You’re getting worked up and insulting people over a flight sim. Let that sink in. If I was insecure in the slightest, I would have snap moved to MSFS 5 years ago. Torsten and his wife are very nice people, and Torsten’s wife was very emphatic that the agreement they have with aerosoft is no different to pro sim and Fenix.

You can think what you want. The fact is Tollis is not entering the MSFS market.  This was stated by Torsten and his wife. If this is enough to trigger you, oh well. 🙂

It doesn't matter.  Wife's don't matter with sims.  I found out years ago. Oh well.

Best to ignore him. He clearly hates this thread and is attempting to get it shut down. Can't deal with someone who loses sight of the fact that at the end of the day, these sims are just 1s and 0s and definitely not worth blatantly lying over.

No really, you simply never did, and have destroyed your credibility with that. You were caught out. Simple as that. Goodbye.

Again, toliss are not entering the MSFS market. Aerosoft are making an aerosoft product with toliss’s code.  It’s no different to Fenix and Prosim. Prosim didn’t enter the MSFS market. I know you have a difficult time grasping reality, but I’m happy to correct you when needed. 😉

Yes! A2A never entered MSFS market, they just using MSFS code ! LOL

So what's the big deal as to whether Toliss has entered the MS2024 market or not? I can't see what's wrong with developing for both sims? Just Flight do for instance.

According to GoranM, if Toliss's code is "licensed," that doesn't constitute entering the MSFS market, or as my original words were, "getting in on the MSFS market."  Even though I presented GoranM with Investopedia's page on licensing, where Investopedia explicitly says, "Licensing agreements allow parties to control property and enter new markets."

GoranM got so upset that I said Toliss is entering the MSFS market, that he immediately labeled me as passing "misinformation," and then attacked me in his first comment in this thread, here:

At the end of the day, it's just perspective. My perspective, and maybe your perspective, is that even though their code/engine is being licensed by Aerosoft, it constitutes as "entering the MSFS market."  GoranM's perspective is that it is not, that licensing doesn't count as "entering a market," even though it contradicts Investopedia's definition.

IMO, it's not a big deal to label it as that way, and there is no reason for GoranM's first post in this thread to attack me.  This is one of those topics where the answer is not definitive, and people can have different perspectives on whether Toliss is entering the MSFS market or not.  Some people see this dress as white and gold, others see it as black and blue. Just stay civil, and say you disagree, and you can even point out why you disagree.  By not staying civil, by attacking someone as the very first thing to do in this thread, it's just not civil.  And mind you, GoranM is a Commercial Member, not a regular Avsim member.

Well, on the other hand, GoranM is immediately attacked whenever he shows his face here so what do you expect? And here’s a prediction… look out for a 2024 Saab in the not to distant future!😂

Developers?  Or developer licensing out his module. Misinformation is not good.

Hi @GoranM. In the XP forum, you wrote this:

What’s interesting is Torsten announced that he had to make a flight model within MSFS because the MSFS flight model doesn’t deliver what he needs.

Can you explain what you meant, by Torsten "had to make a flight model within MSFS"?

That sounds like more than licensing out the module to me.

Sorry, but why not? I hate to bring this up again, but you clearly made a mistake and never even admitted that? Of course this will haunt you. I also feel it doesn't suit you, because, to me, you come across as an honest person.

On topic, I agree MSFS gave a massive boost to flight simulation. Although I had fun with Prepar3D and X-Plane 11 I was thrilled to see the announcement of MSFS. Since its release I have very rarely used other sims.

Cheers, Bert

No surprises at all...

P3D is dead in term of new development and XP despite all the high praises remains a niche market.

Devs makes most of their money with msfs so that the market they are aiming now.

Goran does these kind of semantics really matter? You're claiming people are triggered when you went out of your way to respond to Abram's comment accusing Abrams of misinformation and claiming that they wanted Toliss to abandon xplane when NO ONE made that comment. Then doubling down on correcting misinformation when none of it was made.

We're just happy to see toliss taking an interest in MSFS regardles of the granularities of how they're involved in MSFS.

Is this really a hill worth dying on over semantics that no one else really cares to speak on and derailing the thread?
