MSFS is it’s own worst enemy

I have tried XP over the years, and every time I do, I am disappointed in how outdated it always looks. XP 12 which I just tried, was no exception, and now my impression is even worse, coming from MSFS 2020. Going to be a really hard sell to get anyone to give up MSFS  and switch to XP, that's for sure.

Funny thing about 'the look' - serious flight sims don't consist (mainly) of the look. I just wrote another post about that elsewhere 😉

So, your main gripe is really that you don't have the money to properly migrate to a more capable sim platform with all the add-ons you want? I can empathise with that, been there in the past.  B

  • Never looked back? Then you might be lost if you are reading/posting in this MSFS forum. Let me help you guide you to where you probably prefer to hang out Link

  • I just want people to be aware that there are other excellent simulators out there.... especially for the OP.... maybe he's happy using FSX or P3D...  But 2020 is great, same with 2024, and also same

So your argument avsim is not center of universe but regit is? It kind of silly LOL

That’s not what my argument is though, is it?
Kind of a silly assumption for you to jump to don’t you think. If you have trouble reading English I could perhaps break it down in to basic first school stuff style for you, I can even include some pictures.

No one has to just use one sim, what would be the fun in that?

Ever since you've failed miserably at MSFS VR, you've been on this extremely negative tirade of tantrums with the very users you've once got along with here.

What happened to you? It's not our fault the whole MSFS VR experience didn't work out for you.

You've been very bitter about MSFS and the populace of this forum section in general ever since.

Always something snarky with you when someone posts about enjoying MSFS....

Go get some sunlight and fresh air...it's just a video game and we are not your enemies!💡

Cool down ... it was only to show that avsim isn't the centre of flightsimming.

This turned into a garbage thread. IMO it really doesn’t help the original author out. Surprised the moderators have let it continue this long. Must be a slow day.

There is no known center of flightsimming! There is only "my sim better than yours, and I can't sleep because you are not using my sim" LOL

If he has an "agenda" then it's to obtain stutter-free performance.  But that's not the type of agenda you're talking about, is it?

IT ISN'T???? 😲😱

I keep seeing implications like this.

what, exactly, makes MSFS an unserious flight sim relative to XP or P3D or DCSW…?

The demo sucks but once you load up free map enhancement and free simheaven it's a pretty good sim.  The skies can look on par with MSFS or even better at times.

Yep, the DEMO does way more to dissuade new potential buyers than it does to sell the product.  I'm glad it's there but offers little to nothing over 2024.
