  • Carenado really need to address issues with the planes already released before I will consider any more, but other than that, I wish they would do the Apache and Navajo again.

  • With the Black Square B58 analog up and coming I don't think I can commit to the B55.  I liked their Dakota and F33 but the C210 was really buggy... and still is.  If the B55 comes out relatively bug

I'd already added the funds to my Steam wallet in anticipation so, I may as well spend it now.

At this point it's almost as if they intentionally stop short of avionics completion...as if they know 90% of their customers wont even notice.  What percentage of MSFS players actually use and know what an LPV approach is?  I bet most just use the external camera and buzz around at full power doing loops anyway....

If xbox is 90% of the customers, I agree, but I think general users would still know that the glide path isn't showing, or that the CDI needle isn't deflecting.  I don't use the GNS that much but not being able to enter a flight plan is a major bug hehe.

Does the TDS or PMS 750 bypass the GNS LPV issues?

I mostly putt around Florida VFR when time allows, but sometimes go IFR.

I was thinking about picking up the F33 or T210, but maybe this would be fun, bugs and all?

The GNS and GTNs both have the issues.

If you only fly VFR or fly traditional IFR (green needles VOR loc/ils) it'll be fine.

I would skip this one for now!!  There are glaring bugs...shockingly the same bugs on their other planes such as:

LPV Glidepath only displays at the last moment on the analog HSI (should show pegged at the top of the scale about 30 miles from the FAF)

On the Aspen it doesn't show at all.

On the Aspen the CDI doesn't deviate/deflect off center

Cursor push function doesn't work with the GNS530 (if you're on the flight plan page and want to, ohhh, enter a flight plan ffs)

Range button on GNS only works with mouse wheel, no clicks.

FPL button doesnt push/work on the GNS430

Interior engine sounds are very odd... there's almost a high pitched noise that sounds like a turbo, but it's normally aspirated.  And then part of the way during takeoff run the engine sounds like a rotax engine for a moment.

If you just want to fly "green needles" (VLOC vor or localizer as nav source) the avionics work fine.  The GPS/GTN setups seem to really trip up Carenado.  (Even though they worked fine in 2020!)

Definitely wait for the Black Square Baron B58!!

In FS24, can you enter the NAV1 ILS frequ. in the 530, & GPS/GTN?

(If I recall correctly, on the 530 & 430 you need to right click a knob to switch from COM to NAV, in most FS24 aircraft.

I haven't tested this offering for full IFR integrity but my GTN 750s are working well and I was quite shocked at the amazing sounds when I slapped it down on a grass airstrip.

The visuals and sounds are as good as any and at this point in time ,  I like it rather more than the Ted Smith Aerostar from A2A.

Other than a few quirks (Maybe more)? But, I like it. Took my first flight today and it was great! The tail beacon blooms bad, any one else?

Shes a keeper!

Identical problem to the F33A, yet the other recent Carenado aircraft (C210, Dakota etc.) are fine.  I wonder if there are two different development teams, but how they don't see this I don't know, unless it is an SU3 beta thing - are you on the beta?

Another thing with the F33A is when I return to the cockpit from an external view, the instruments take a while to render and are blurry for a second.  I don't get this with other aircraft.  I wish I hadn't bought the F33 to be honest, so I will hold off on this.

Have you tried to download it in the SU3 beta? Can you?

I don't see those lighting issues btw and I am not in the beta.

Yes, I am in the beta.  I notice a reviewer on YouTube does not have the problem and they are SU2, so in all likelihood an SU3 beta problem, and might be related to the overly emissive landmarks at night time, also an SU3 problem.

Strange though because the Carenado Dakota and C210 don't have this problem in SU3, so maybe they are implementing the beacon differently in different aircraft.

I doubt if they will get around to fixing this now before formal SU3 release, so we might all have to live with it until SU4.

Bert, If I remember correctly they were the same in the FSX/Prepar3d days..Interaction with their customer base was very poor...
