But personally I'd keep my eyes out on the Aerosoft A340 instead and see how their partnership with Toliss works out.

If it's anything like their A330, then I'll take a hard pass.

Well Aerosoft/Toliss and ini are doing different variants, so there‘s room for both. That said there‘s no current airliner as boring/bland as the A340, and it‘s being taken out of service almost everywhere. So my interest in both is very low.

Typical overengineered approach. Why not simply adjust the 3D model of the fan that this obvious unavoidable clockwise turning at least does not result in physical nonsense? I bet that less people would realize that the engines should turn counter-clockwise if the animation at least is congruent with the 3D model, at least in my case: I have no idea if the engines of a A340 turn clockwise or counterclockwise, but I instantly see if the rotation direction is absolute non-sense...

Looks very nice. I passed on their A350, mostly based on reviewers and users that criticized it for high price, lack of depth, and poor performance. Not sure if that still has any merit?

I’d really like a good looking A340 in MSFS.  I don’t think it is boring at all, unless you think that description applies to all Airbuses.

 The -600 variant that Aerosoft/Toliss is doing isn’t even underpowered 😀

The A340 is the bus I've been waiting for - and as the saying goes, two come along at once. I've always focused on the -600, but those Inibuilds development shots have me drooling, particularly the Cathay Pacific one. 

It does look amazing. Are iniBuilds making the entire A340-series?

IMO....every plane looks good in that version of the Cathay livery.  Even from the P3D days, this was one of my favorite paints...
I added so much detail and weathering to it, and I love the look of the 747 BCF in general. 🙂

Even in bare metal...the livery was fantastic.  (of course, the 747 is an excellent canvas, and I love painting her).😊

Can't wait for the 747-400 to arrive in 2024!

 

I like the fact that Aerosoft is releasing theirs for 2020 too.
