before this update the sim used 2020 ship models in the low quality setting instead of 2024 ones.

It's right in the text lol

What about performance on arrival airports, stutters yet?

Some user has noticed a worsening of the cloud graphics: Is that the case?

Thanks

Unfortunately yes (in VR) the distance clouds had some sort of anti-aliasing shadow bug kinda thing going on with them, not seen that before. Haven't flown through or near to clouds yet though to see them up close.

Performance seemed good but there's been a definite drop off during the course of the beta as a whole, still smooth and better than SU3 which is the main thing. I didn't see any take off/landing stutters this time, but when I loaded into a new Free Flight it was a stuttery mess so had to restart the whole game and then it was fine.

For me this build is doing very well performance wise. Its also not crashing AIG as the previous build was doing. Managed a flight from two decently resource heavy airports (KIAD-KEWR) in the PMDG/Boris enhanced 772 without a hitch. No blurries to be seen and the textures look pretty darned good FPS pinned at TAA 40x2FG= 80fps with no degradation the entire flight.

Very happy with this build. A shame i dont have time to do a Fenix flight till tomorrow.

Have you cleared your shaders and rolling cache when updating to a new beta build?
I find that I often get much worse performance (like 30-40% drop in FPS) in a new build when I don’t clear the caches.

Agreed. Things are becoming nice and boring. No drama, it just works great.

I haven't no but I will do later, seems cloud issues with VR in this beta are an ongoing issue since the first one though I just never noticed it before.
