I think so as it's also mentioned in this press release thats from today: https://news.lockheedmartin.com/2025-12-02-Lockheed-Martin-Blackshark-ai-Debut-Next-Gen-Image-Generator-Powered-by-Unreal-Engine Doesn't look like there will be a public release for now: Quote Where can I purchase Prepar3D Fuse? At this time, Lockheed Martin is selling Prepar3D Fuse as part of Lockheed Martin integrated simulators, modeling applications and simulation applications along with select strategic partners. If you are interested in your project being considered, or wish to be added to a wait list for a future public release, please contact us here. December 2, 2025Dec 2 I don’t see anything about consumer availability, and plenty of features to make me think it’s totally aimed at mil/gov. HOWEVER, at least the features (and naming) seem to indicate there’s still P3D code in there, along with a slew of flight sim good stuff. BUT, only “1000 airports”…? I’ll remain cautiously optimistic that a consumer version MIGHT be offered at some point, because what’s there is genuinely interesting. 🙏
December 2, 2025Dec 2 https://www.prepar3d.com/fuse/fuse_faq/#where-can-i-purchase-prepar3d-fuse Seems for now can only be acquired with one of LM's training packages. There is a link to join a waitlist for news of a standalone version. Bummer, I was willing to give it a try. The FAQ does also state that current P3D addons aren't compatible but they've had success updating them to the new platform.
December 2, 2025Dec 2 Well, we’ve got a chance to directly express interest in a consumer version: https://www.prepar3d.com/fuse/contactfuse/ based on the video and feature list, and the possibility of upgraded legacy addons, I’d be willing to get it. I hope you’ll all fill out the form! 😃👍
December 2, 2025Dec 2 Subject to pricing for a consumer product, I'm in for sure. It looks interesting, even if it has very little content in terms of aircraft/vehicles at launch. Interesting to see "A full round earth, multispectral, material encoded globe including high fidelity areas of interest surrounding over 1000 worldwide airports" and also "the Prepar3D Fuse application does not require an internet connection of any kind. The global terrain included with the product is run on-premises. It can fit on a single large, commercially available hard drive, or can be run on a local area network connected to network attached storage". Given both those statements and the implication that the likes of road/rail or whatever simulations could be developed in the same environment makes it very much something I will await rather eagerly. I'd already pretty much decided to throttle back on buying scenic addons for MSFS and that will definitely be the case now. Not saying I won't buy anything at all, but I won't be hoovering up addons the way I have been. Interesting aircraft always on the shopping list though. Funnily enough, I just bought a copy of v6 Personal edition this week, thought I'd check it out as part of my renewed set of P3D installs. Funny old world. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
December 2, 2025Dec 2 I see you folks found the links already to P3D Fuse. Looks really good to me, I don’t see any of those odd looking Rock like Trees in MSFS and the no melted buildings. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

As I said in my initial post, everything in this preview is geared to the military. Maybe there will be a consumer version of something, but so far, I am seeing nothing to suggest that. I hope I am wrong. Sherm

December 2, 2025Dec 2 You can apply to LM at the website link provided in this thread. Agree, the focus is military but certainly not limited to military usage … could easily be adapted to other tasks like fire fighting, search and rescue, etc. When I did some contract work for CAE, that’s exactly what we did using P3D platform for fire fighter aircraft training. I don’t think MS/Asobo need to be concerned about being replaced anytime soon … unless of course they don’t fix their LOD issues 😉 Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
