December 11, 2025Dec 11 Commercial Member it genuinely makes me a bit dizzy sometimes! - Jane Whittaker
December 11, 2025Dec 11 It's not something I've noticed but I've only done one serious flight since SU4 officially dropped. Edited December 11, 2025Dec 11 by Krakin 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

If it's anything other than Ultra try setting it to Ultra. Mine was on 'high' and when I set it to Ultra, re-launched MSFS2024 and set up a flight in the Just Flight RJ, the issue was no longer happening. May have been a fluke but worth a shot. Could somebody explain me what actually that setting does?

December 12, 2025Dec 12 "Off Screen Terrain Pre-Caching" it is not supposed to mitigate stutters when you look left or right because scenery is already loaded? Anyway with this option on I always get stutters on complex custom airports even with SU4. Btw I also see this delayed cockpit rendering or whatever it is. Alexander Colka

Today I am having the issue, doesn't look like the video where you see low rez edges in the cockpit then sharpen. Instead it's just the view is not fully rendered and takes a split second to complete, esp the cockpit view. Doesn't sound like anything fixes this but perhaps it's worth playing with OSTP-C again which I've had disable for many moons now. It's worth noting this is hardly a reason to throw the baby out. It ONLY happens, ultra briefly and yes of course it needs fixed and I'm certain will be, when you toggle the external view. Everything else is as it was, ultra smooth, and otherwise fabulous IQ, in VC panning, all good, etc. So right now the fix is just to avoid this action, or don't obsess on it if you do.
