January 30Jan 30 I've been flying side by side TDFi MD-11, Fenix A321, and PMDG 737 800. I must say all of them have own quirks, advantages and disadvantages, but other then PMDG is missing working circuit breakers I wouldn't say it falls far behind others. January 31Jan 31 Absolutely 100% agree with the video. I bought the 737 600 for about 35 € and it is one of the best purchases I've done in the last 25 years. it is stable and smooth. Just works .
January 31Jan 31 Great aircraft! The BBJ is just perfect, it is the dream jet you could never afford in real life and with the AUX tanks you can fly long haul also. Edited January 31Jan 31 by rob0203
January 31Jan 31 Makes you wonder why there is hardly any drama about Fenixsim and their planes........

One company underpromises and overdelivers, the other one has things reversed. Now guess which model has (nothing but...) satisfied recipients / customers ? I also bought the 737-600 for MSFS 2020 and I still use it successfully and flawlessly in MSFS 2024. It’s reliable, smooth and not very resource hungry, in short: A very pleasant experience! In addition that purchase allowed me to buy the 737-800 for MSFS 2024 at the special upgrade price. I’m very satisfied with both aircraft. PMDG does make good (Boeing) airplanes, but, yes, with lot more drama than what we see for other equally good airplane makers in our SIM. I’ve been flying their 737-600 (the first ever PMDG NG) since the FS9/FSX days. It meets my need well as a Baby Boeing enthusiast (no RW pilot here), but whether the 737 has progressed significantly in terms of simulation and fidelity, into the current MSFS version; I am not qualified to comment, leaving that to the experts…

January 31Jan 31 Refreshing to come across a balanced and slightly tongue in cheek community commentary of the decades established entity known as PMDG. I’ve been a customer basically since the start, QOTS and before. I dare say I have bought every darn thing they have ever made. Some purchase were well spent, a few maybe not so much but in the end I’d do it again because overall warts and all in product or policy it just feels right. And in full transparency I will be a Day-1 purchaser of any 747 product, hopefully soon to be released. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies, -B
