May 21May 21 Remember that some people commenting in YT can have an agenda...if you say something is better than the Hotstart Challenger that is a red flag to a bull, to pardon the Spanish reference. The ol' rojo bandera.I don't think graphics take precedence over flight models and systems, and anyone saying that simply doesn't know FSReborn. This is Raul as Christopher pointed out. He would model everything that could be modelled. He is a perfectionist, too.You are right to value other real-world user's opinions. Just be wary that as you said, YouTube content creators can have an agenda or not be well-informed about an add-on or developer, BUT so too can the commenters in there have the same agendas and lack of information. I value an opinion like yours (here at AVSIM) way more than something I'd find on Reddit or YouTube. I know most of you guys are straight shooters. If it sucks, you'll let me know ha ha.Gosh Rhett, why are you being so logical? May 21May 21 Author I must say even with some bugs this is the best corporate jet I ever own for MSFS 2020 and 2024. The depth of Phenom easily compared with hot start TBM back in XP11 - which was the best airplane back in the days for XP IMHO Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). May 21May 21 I must say even with some bugs this is the best corporate jet I ever own for MSFS 2020 and 2024I have to agree, and I am so pleased it is a modern jet with modern avionics for truth be told I have grown tired of only flying analog gauges and been wanting to learn more about more modern arrangements. The fact that I have made 1 short test flight in 3 days is a testament to the depth and engagement of the aircraft, I have had to spend most of my time reading the manual, watching the really helpful videos and practicing the flows. The one flight, CYYZ to CYXU went very nicely, but I will need to practice my landings more. This will be a very enjoyable aircraft over the summer. MSFS 2024. May 21May 21 I've been wanting to dip my toes in the light(er) jet waters for some time now. My requirements were - RW single pilot certification, excellent systems depth, a plane that appealed to me aesthetically (sorry HJet) and, obviously, a solid flight model, so this has been on my radar since it was announced. A few days in now, and I can say I am absolutely a happy camper.System depth is amazing as most have noted, but what has surprised me the most is how well this thing hand flies. I'm still in the learning stages on the AP having never flown a plane with VNAV, in the real world or the sim, but I almost hate to turn it on because I'm enjoying the hand flying so much. Did not expect that. For what it's worth, I do not see the squirrelly behavior some have reported on the takeoff roll. With my rudder pedals and a mild curve I track quite smoothly down the centerline. I have not yet, however, tried things with a substantial crosswind component as my takeoffs so far have only featured a few knots of crosswind. Even if there are some issues, though, I'd attribute that more to Asobo than FSReborn as crosswind ground handling remains an annoyance across the sim.Yes, there are a few minor glitches, many of which are already being addressed, but nothing that I find overly concerning.I'm still primarily a GA prop guy and probably always will be, but this plane WILL see substantial use when the high, fast and far mood strikes.Bottom line for me? Wow. Just... WOW! My congrats to Raul and all involved on a very well done plane.Scott
May 21May 21 Why do I have no waypoints in my database? I have airports, but no waypoints.Any thoughts on this? A little more info....I have no waypoints other than airports for some reason. I am able to load a flight plan in the EFB no problem, but when importing into the FMC it always crashes saying there is a missing waypoint. So, then I try to enter a flight plan manually and I find NONE of the waypoints. I have looked at this with several standard US routes, KORD-KATL, KJFK-KATL, etc. absolutely no waypoints to load in the flight plan. All my Navigraph databases are up to date, does the FMC use a different database? If so, how do I update / check that one?I did ask in the FSR Discord, but only received automated responses. Thanks.
May 21May 21 I have the feeling the phenom is heavier on the CPU somehow. the fans are noticably louder. the performance is however great. I've actually starting reading the manual for a change..Page 42;"you need to align your aircraft inertia to be neutral, you coming in hot at 120-130 knots, this is not an Airbus / Boeing aircraft with gear designed to take the sideway load, you need to aim to land it as straight as possible so you can control it on the ground, especially when cross wind speed is high"This is why you see many youtube wiggeling down the runway after touchdown.
May 21May 21 Is there a Simbrief profile for this plane??Sorta? There is a Phenom 300 profile, but not a later model 300E which is what FSReborn has modeled. The late model E's do have an engine update featuring slightly higher thrust and slighty faster speeds. For now, I've just been approximating with the existing 300 profile though I have updated the thrust to the correct 3478 lbf.Scott
May 21May 21 This is getting more and more tempting as I learn more and more. Plus Ive already downloaded a Ryan livery (word not allowed him).I already own the Citation X but the systems here seem much more up to date. Not to many of these that are good available. May 21May 21 This is getting more and more tempting as I learn more and more. I've never been a fan of this developer but bought this one in spite of that and I have to say, it is really excellent. Expensive but worth it. A few minor bugs and annoyances but I think the second update is due out tonight/tomorrow so I'm sure it will be polished until it is perfect. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
May 21May 21 How do you get wifi to work? it's on at the passenger tablet but on the pilot EFB it's off

My congrats to Raul and all involved on a very well done plane.Scott20-ish kts gusty crosswinds are challenging so far, mainly getting through the flare, touchdown, and getting the nose wheel settled. It REALLY wants to lift the upwind wing!I’m presently blaming myself for a lack of experience with this addon - only had time for a handful of sessions around the landing pattern as yet. During any type of typical wind/runway alignment, it’s still a VERY pleasant experience on both takeoffs and landings.Glad this one fits your parameters - ain’t it great when the stars align and an objectively excellent addon matches up to one’s desires? 😁👍

May 21May 21 Since HJET was mentioned and I have been flying it for years the 2 planes fly and handle like sister and brother. IOW very similar. Of course the Phenom is in another class thanks to Raul and his devotion so it's my bird for the duration.BTW I do like the looks of the HJET and like the engine sound set more but the FBO scenery tool and passenger implementation have me hooked on the Phenom.dd
