Reports are in that they left the upscaling aspect in so these notes may not be very clear as to what exaclty has been rolled back. Will see when i get home i guess.

All I can add is that a nice circuit of MK Studios LSZH Zurich in the PMDG 737-800 BCF at dawn worked absolutely fine. I will continue testing over the weekend, and report back if I encounter any problems. I know that all of you will be on the edge of your seats in anticipation 🤣

I miss P3D sometimes.....

I've been at this since the dawn of 2020 and now 2024 and never had to fix anything after an update. What's beyond stunning to me is just how much stuff is addressed in these updates compared to any other 'game' I've used over many decades. This is a product that demands massive ongoing development by comparison to so many other games which amount to an initial install and a couple of patches or updates. I remain blown away by how trouble-free it has been despite this complexity.

Like previous SU udpates, i dont have to do anything with my community folder right?

It will update without issues and not erase anything?

TBH I don't recall ever having to wait for an update from a complex 3rd party plane, and if there were then it was not much different than updates for complex 3rd party planes that happen independent of MSFS updates. Put another way, post SU have never caused enough meaningful sequelae to be worth commenting on, IMO of course.

I haven't had one break on me after a Sim Update since early in 2020's release.

Has anyone noticed that EFB in the upgraded version deleted my simbrief app. Can anyone let me know what to do to get it back into the EFB Apps. My Navigraph maps was there just needed to resync it.

I just tested the option to start in the cockpit. Works great!!

And a quick check of DLSS Swapper shows that my version was reset from 310.7 to 310.6. I assume this is related to the adding DLSS 4.5 support as the default native upscaler. I hopped into a couple of planes, and the text in the cockpit looks very good. So for now I am not going back to 310.7, I am staying with 310.6.

I’m Not going to say it’s never happened to me, but I sure can’t remember the last time I had an issue where I couldn’t use an addon, or an addon developed a serious issue. And even if that DID happen,I have other addons to fly.

Didn't delete mine. You need to download the Navigraph hub, where you can update nav data, apps inside the sim, 3rd party planes, etc..

True story: had a 2+ day power outage not too long ago.

But we have solar+battery, so all good right…?

Wrong - the ISP’s backhaul batteries died, and so no MSFS for me.

And soon after that outage, we had a very short ISP blip right in the middle of an MSFS session and the entire sim shut down.

BUT, having both P3D and XP already installed saved the day both times. And heck, even tho DCS wants an auth at every launch, they still give you a 72 hour window to play before they get snippy.

Theres gotta be a better way to balance things out in MSFS
