August 14Aug 14 Updated to the latest version (1.8.14.0) and now I have been unable to connect to the server. I get the low bandwidth error before it goes to the grey screen "Unable to connect to the server." It has been like this for three days now. MSFS2024 has been rendered useless on my PC. Looking for a fix. August 14Aug 14 Question about updating msfs2024.Due to work abroad i haven't been able to update msfs2024 in about one year. Now , what will exactly happen when i come back in a couple of weeks and startup msfs2024?Will it automatically download all updates i missed and install them in the right order, or will the latest update maybe contain all missed updates? Or something else altogether? Have you tried starting with a empty community folder? And then starting in safe mode? I'm at the back end of a 14-hour flight using the latest SU6 update and it's been all good here. August 14Aug 14 No real need to mess with the community folder for a sim update unless you suspect something in there is causing an issue. I do update my nvidia cache, shader cache and rolling cache though.I don't see anyone else suggesting that sim update 6 caused any issues though so I suspect simething else to be the problem maybe with your connection, so I might suggest resetting your router, flushing your DNS cache and disconnecting your PC and reconnecting. May also worth repositioning your router if you do not have a hard connection. So perhaps your internet provider or router are your issue.
August 14Aug 14 The only issue I had was, my Tobii settings reverted back to Default, just had to re-enter the settings (glad I had a screen shot backup). i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

It was yesterday morning when I did the update so this is day two of troubleshooting. The point I was making is none of this happened until I ran the update. So the SU6 update is the problem. August 14Aug 14 Author Guys, it's been a long week and I lost track of days. My point is that I updated the sim and it broke it. Whether it was two days or yesterday, my system worked flawlessly until I ran the SU6 update. I am looking for possible solutions to get past the network connection. I have flushed DNS, etc, to no avail. It is extremely frustrating that's all. August 14Aug 14 This update was uneventful for me, but I have had an update completely break my Sim install in the past. After much faffing around I finally just made sure my community folder was backed up and did a full uninstall and fresh install. Doesn't take very long with msfs 2024 and it got it working again. Make a backup of your user cfg before deleting. I'm sure it's not SU6 that's causing you issues because many others would have reported the same as you. Apparently, something didn't go well with your update, so why not go back to a vanilla install with nothing else interfering with getting you going?
