  1. Past hour
  2. I noticed things are a bit snappier for me. Jk 😜
  3. I had a hard freeze in the Duke last evening. I thought it was a complete wash but after a few seconds it came back.
  4. No, it installed smooth as silk on a second drive
  5. Wow I just got a system just like yours but with a 4080. I was having a ton of stutters with the new system I thought something was broken. Turning off rolling cache fixed it for me. Sorry it didn't work for you.
  6. We have very similar systems and I have pure excellence w/ zero to very few stutters anywhere from gate to gate in any of my four planes used in APL and SLC, out of all types of airports, default and payware. I use all Ultra, TAA/16xAF/8xSS/RenderScale 160/AMD FidelityFX Sharpening 200. I do not use DLSS Frame Generation as the hit on image quality and stability isn't worth the add'l frames, and with my hardware, I can maintain a favorable frame rate. My base native rate is 45fps, which will be anywhere from 10 to 25% below the wide open rate at that moment in sim time. The reason this is done is to provide headroom to accommodate transient spikes in demand that can contribute to stutter. 3440x1440 but w/ MSFS RenderScale at 200. Exquisite sharpness. I do use DynamicLOD and the lowest rate is 60 on the ground and increases with climb, fairly gently, up to 170 at cruise. This is my default setting at complex airports. Sounds like something is very amiss for you. Have you done a clean GPU driver update, clearing out the DX caches?
  7. Hi Everybody, Welcome aboard, this is a Binter Canarias Flight (flight number 48FJ), with nonstop service from Gran Canaria, Spain (GCLP) to Tenerife, Spain (GCTS). We depart Gran Canaria via RWY 03L, LOMAS1A departure. We'll cruise at 9,000' and arrive in Tenerife, Spain via LOMAS1Y arrival into RWY 07. Using: X-Plane 12 | Zibo Mod | Flightdeck Solutions | Home cockpit | Boeing 737 "Hope you enjoy the ride"
  8. TBH I've noticed no difference after turning cache off. I have a good connection though.
  9. They aren't saying its impossible, they said they want to match what you see in the sim. If you have a default airport where the taxiway A is technically B on real world charts, they want to call it A since that is what you will see on the signs outside your window. This has nothing to do with ability to get the data, all about making sure their instructions match what you see out your airplane. Any 3rd party airport shouldn't be effected as long as the developer codded the correct taxiways.
  10. There isn't any profile data in there. The weights and everything you need are blank. You'd have to enter all the data yourself.
  11. Thanks for all your work on this. One of the must-have utilities.
  12. Has anyone experienced issues installing either/both of the Duke to their community folder? I keep getting an error saying that the installer can't find the folder in the community folder - even though it has created the folders their? JustFlightScott have you seen this?
  13. I had some stuttering when changing views. I turned off frame generation and its all good again. Not sure if it was the driver or what. All good for now.
  14. Yes I tried both rolling cache on and off. I have flown with it off except the last couple of days and it did not make a difference having it on vs off for me personally. And yes I agree it is disappointing to throw a serious amount of money into the hobby in terms of hardware and sceneries and still not get the level of enjoyment you are hoping for.
  15. I am so discouraged knowing that a system like yours still suffer stutters for months. One would expect much better experience with such amount of investment. One thing though, have you turned off the Rolling Cache (if you happen to active it)
  16. Hi All, I am having a consistent micro stutter on short final for the last couple of months that is ruining the enjoyment of nearly all my flights. I have spent over 100+ hours fiddling with the sim/settings and tweaks to try to solve the issue to no avail. The stutters occur on all four aircraft I primarily fly, which are the PMDG 737, Leonardo MD-80, Fenix A320 and the Inibuilds A300. Around 500 feet all the way to touch down I get these stutters which really ruins an otherwise beautiful flight with incredibly smooth performance. SYSTEM SPECS CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core Processor, 4201 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s) GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming OC RTX 4090 24GB Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming WiFi 6E Ram: 64GB G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (2 x 32GB) The problem also occurs whether I am recording a flight using OBS or just flying without recording it. I typically can get well in excess of 100+ FPS with DX12 and Frame Gen, but my smoothest experience is with FPS locked to 90 in NVCP, DX12, TAA. Mostly Medium and High Settings and Ultra for terrain pre-caching and terrain vector data. TLOD 100/ OLOD 100. I have the sim on its own dedicated NVMe drive separate from Windows, and my sceneries are linked from its own SSD using Add-On Linker. I have not tried moving all my scenery onto the NVMe Drive with the sim but unsure that would help. The stutters occur both on SU14, and SU15 Beta. Things I have tried with no success over the last 2 months to stop the final approach stuttering include but are not limited to: Turning off frame gen Locking frames at 60,50,45…makes no difference. Flying offline (Not on VATSIM) makes no difference. Trying DSR Factor scaling with DLSS. Downscaling the image using Render Scaling. Turning down TLOD and OLOD to 10. Run with rolling cache (I usually have rolling cache off) Disabling all aircraft effects like tire smoke Capping frames using Riva Statistics Tuner Turning off GSYNC and using Scanline Sync Tried using AUTOFPS / Dynamic LOD Cleared Shader Cache Many Times Many more things I am not thinking of. Visually the stutters seem to coincide with scenery popping when I am in the final 200-300 ft of the approach, when taxi-way signs and fences begin to pop in, it seems like the stutters are synchronous with the scenery popping in at this critical phase of flight. Any help is appreciated with this matter since it’s really made me not want to invest the time in doing any flights knowing that the final approach is going to be ruined by stutters while the first 99% of the flight is perfectly smooth. Thanks!
  17. Will try this. If I turn the RCache off, will my internet work harder since it is continuously streaming data, thus demand more quota?
  18. Today
  19. I saw the Royal Turbine Duke in FF, isn't that the same plane? Go check again Im pretty sure its in there.
  20. The turbine Duke typically won't go as far as the manual states. I've seen between 900 to 1100 nm. Here is a link or two with some real world numbers: https://www.aircraft.com/aircraft/216844115/n1lt-1982-beechcraft-b60-duke-turboprop https://doc8643.com/aircraft/B60T https://royalairinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/twin_and_turbine_sept_2005.pdf
  21. Ramberga Many thanks for the scenarios, very usefull. Sorry to ask, but one small request. Any chance of converting them to Word to enable a change of background colour? I tried an online convertor but it did not work. Many thanks in advance.. John
  22. Very nice. Glad you put this flight on your "to-do" list. 🙂 That livery looks extra good without any greenery beneath its wings.
  23. I believe the GNS need some work around currently. Did you answer the install questions regarding SU14 and SU15 beta? FWIW, I only use the TDS GTN750. I'd rather use the older non-graphically over the GNS. They are nice, but I find navigating them to be a bit painful. Anyhow, I flew into Jeffco last night to test the ILS, as someone on the JustFlight forums reported an issue with it not working. I have to say, at a 30 degree intercept and level into the FAF, it flew perfectly to minimums. I don't feel like the AP disco resulted in any problems either. Maybe a bit of up-trim, but nothing abnormal.
  24. Fun stuff! Like that first cockpit shot.
  25. There is an airframe overstress option in MSFS, and the developer said you can't easily work around it, so just turn that option off. Any crashing options should be off.
  26. I don't even have a turbine profile in ForeFlight Performance Plus. I am under the impression the King Air version will be inaccurate. Not too sure, but I find GA fuel planning to be a simple guessing game.
  27. Hopefully given the popularity of these two aircraft, some person smarter than me will create some profiles.
