If propellers looked like that in MSFS I’d learn to fly from the external view looking backwards at the nose of the airplane.

The more sub forums there are the less active they all are. I or someone else might know the answer to something posted in a sub forum but because I’m not looking at that forum it doesn't get seen.

I never gave this bird a second look in P3D and stuck to modern airliners. Couldn’t stand flying low and slow in that sim. Now I can’t stop flying the DC-6 in MSFS. Love it.

I use a VKBsim Gladiator NXT and it’s been a awesome joystick. Build quality is beyond its price range.

I recently upgraded from my trusty 15 year old saitek cyborg Evo stick to a VKBsim Gladiator NXT. The difference was night and day. There was a level of precision and accuracy that I was missing. It made flying so much more enjoyable that I should have done this years ago. With the old stick I had to mess with sensitivities and dead zones heavily on MSFS. Edit: I forgot what the point of this reply was.. I guess maybe that the VKBsim joystick also has magnetic sensors instead of those troublesome potentiometers and it made MSFS hand flying much more enjoyable than using that old ancient stick! Like you a modern stick solved my sensitivity issues.

I suffered from constant ctds since launch but since the latest updates no issues at all. No hardware or configuration changes.

Count me into the group experiencing constant CTDs AFTER the latest December 22nd update. No over clocking no system changes. Rock solid stable before the update now it crashes all the time. Default or addon aircraft. My system is stable in any other games or situations. It’s clear something is wrong with this build of MSFS whether it affects everyone or not something was changed within MSFS to cause this and it needs to be fixed. edit: I disabled rolling cache and haven’t had one in about 4 hours.

Correct, MS marketplace purchases do not go into the community folder.

I knew a G550 captain years ago that told me he would get scolded by the owner of the aircraft if he slammed the brakes too hard on landing because the brakes were absurdly expensive on that bird. He also liked to fly into airports with short runways. Liked to have his cake and eat it too. Go figure. Needless to say that owner couldn’t keep pilots very long before they quit to fly for someone else.

I just had 4 CTDS in a row with the Mooney today. None yesterday or the day before. Complete insanity no rhyme or reason. however I’ve also had a CTD flying the WT CJ4.

Absolutely, we have about 8 FedEx caravans based at ONT in Southern California and they just do short hops from the hub to smaller regional airports.

I turned off live traffic and haven’t had a CTD again. Knock on wood.

I’d like to hear others feedback on this aircraft. I personally don’t fly it Much because it simply gets outdone by the TBM 930. The latter being much faster at cruise but still capable on short strips. I do prefer the view out of the high wing caravan and it’s larger cockpit windows.

I just purchased the Seminole. Tried to shoot an ILS in the poor Southern California weather today. I could not for the life of me get any glide slope indication. Localizer seemed to work okay though. tried the same in the Mooney and both localizer and glide slope worked.

No, I don’t use the MSFS planner at all. I’m aware of the issues with that and the CJ4.

I suffered my first CTD on a recent flight in the CJ4. Out of the blue no error or anything. Never happened before the last update.

I’d definitely buy if it showed up and was good quality.

I’m impressed with the way the aircraft feel with the new controller sensitivity settings.

Yeah, I suppose I’ll wait to spend money on the marketplace sale until we know if the update breaks any of those addons.

How hard is it to fly in VR and the use your iPad for charts.. has something been figured out for that already? I tried it a while ago. It was cool but impractical for me.
