  1. Oh No! Now Tom will want cameo royalties from Burkhard! :(
  2. Do you have two different BAe 146 AI's installed? If so I could see one having too large of a wingspan to fit and getting tossed out by FSX.Mike
  3. You also have the choice of MyTraffic Professional. Both MyTraffic 2010 and MyTraffic Pro are created by the same author Burkhard Renk.MyTraffic Pro is a Simmarket product while MyTraffic 2010 is an Aerosoft one.The Pro version has a few more airports and more aircraft such as military.Mike
  4. If your set on MyTraffic you might consider MyTraffic X Professional available at http://secure.simmarket.com/b.-renk-mytraffic-x-pro.phtmlIt has about an equal amount of airports and more aircraft plus it does include Commercial, Military and GA aircraft. Support is excellent.See here http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=77812 for screenshots.Cost is about equal as of today.Regarding AFCADS, yes, you can add newer versions from your favorite designers.Mike
  5. Running the UT setup tool again should fix it. Common problem.Mike
  6. No problem Lightspeed. We are all here to learn and help each other.
  7. Lightspeed,Use Notepad to open the aircraft.cfg (or sim.cfg depending on the developer) in the folder SimObjects\Airplanes\feelThere CRJ200.Never use Wordpad, MS Works, MS Word or any wordprocessor to edit.Sounds like you have the same name duplicated two times. At the beginning of each FLTSIM section you'll see a "Title=" lineYou can change each duplicated line by simply adding a unique letter or number to the end of each duplicate.Save the file.
  8. Your correct Deke. Only some of the military AI have been optimized, i.e. some helos, C-130, KC-135, E-2C, E-3, but it is an ongoing project.Mike
  9. Here is one option from Phil Taylors blog that works pretty good for me:http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/archive/2007...or-fsx-sp2.aspxMike
  10. If your looking for something a little different, try a few harriers from one of the mil AI sites.I use the ones from MAIW and they perform very well, including the gear retract in FSX.Soundai.cfg is aliased to one of my jet engine folders.Mike
  11. Something doesn't look right on your screenshot. With the folder PHX2007_LR highlighted the scenery area title should have changed to that name.Did you or the program installer create a folder under PHX2007_LR named scenery and place the *.BGL files there? Also if the program came with any textures it should have a folder named texture under PHX2007_LR with the texture files in it.Mike
  12. Here is one, but payware:http://secure.simmarket.com/samoshin-natur...rld-trees.phtml
  13. Set your Mipmap level to maximum on your video card.On my ATI card, setting that eliminates the problem.
  14. Have you tried AISOUNDS.ZIP by Alan Constable which is located here in the Avsim library? I believe that is just what you are looking for.Do a library search with keywords ai sound in the FSX sound section.
  15. The payware one is Super Traffic Board ( http://www.supertrafficboard.com/ ). It does quite a bit more than the traffic toolbox including following an AI aircraft from start to destination, no matter how far it is.Mike
  16. Applied to the [Display] section of the FSX.cfg file here's what I use (add/adjust them as to your preference):RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.5RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.5RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.5RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.5I'm pretty sure a value of 1.0 would be the default.Mike
  17. Are you running Flight Deck 5 by Abacus? My understanding is that message is caused by the 3wirex program not having tailhook position info in the aircraft.cfg file defined.
  18. Normal as to positioning I don't know but they look to be blast fences to me.
  19. Samples here:http://www.combatplanes.ca/alaska.htm
  20. IIRC FSX will rebuild the cfg file if it can't find it. Maybe rename or move your present copy out of the FSX directory, restart FSX and see if that corrects it.
  21. I pulled it down yesterday. Nice little standalone app. Thank you!The only thing it showed needing correction was the page file not being system managed.I allowed it to change the page file.Mike4B8
  22. >Hi, I have FSX (deluxe) and since FS9 has become quite>inexpensive, I purchased a copy of FS9 yesterday. My question>is: Can I move the FS9 version Cessna 182 to FSX? Is it just a>matter of copying the C182 folder from the FS9 "Aircraft">folder to the FSX "Airplanes" folder?>>Thanks in Advance for responses>Flt300z>>Sure...you can move it along with abunch of others if you wish, see here: http://www.flightsimulatorguide.com/fs9-to-fsx.htmMike4B8
  23. Maybe this will help...http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchMike4B8
