Cessna 172 autopilot problem
Pegaso replied to yankeegolf3's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
This will not happen if you set your heading bug to your actual direction (tap on your heading knob). -
Airbus A320 Cadet Training Program download
Pegaso replied to Arnason's topic in Airline2Sim Support Forum
Not sure about that, but that's best addressed at Airline2Sim. -
FT sceneries are fine. If you get a chance to download any. Trying to download EHAM e. g. needs ~22 hrs at 20 kB/sec. (reminds me of highspeed modems in the 80's.... Sorry for the company, but I'll never buy there again. Fritz There is no differnce betweeen their NAM or Amsterdam servers.

Aerosoft's EDLP is not #1 because it is the best one ever, but it's free.... 🤔

P3Dv5.2 way too dark at night with HDR and Envshade
Pegaso replied to sho69607's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Where did you get v5.2, Spencer?! 😜 In case you have Chaseplane, you can adapt lighting effectively. However in- and outside simultaneously. Have a healthy Christmas time, Fritz -
Which real time weather product is best for P3DV5 ?
Pegaso replied to jfri's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
I used FSGRW which is really good for P3D v5 (and XP, too). But ASP3D is visually and physically great together with ASCA (without P3D's EA), no VRAM problem. You wouldn't regret it. -
Would be interesting to see pics of the real thing, too....

As I have both, I'd strongly recommend FSDT's version. It's a big enhancement for me. Btw AS seems to cancel development and updates as they seemingly try to get their market in MSFS. Regards, Fritz

Visible Copilot Mod in the Cockpit, Stop Flying Alone :)
Pegaso replied to kt069's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
You can even get a young female Senior Captain as your personal copilot 😳😀 -
Hmmm, do you honestly assume that these mentioned products are in any way comparable to somewhat professional simulation aircraft!? Okay, if you just like playing, then you may see it differently.
-
Sorry Caswain, they are not compatible (and honestly that wouldn't make sense in an airliner with a (M)CDU). Btw A319/A32X and B75X are NOT widebody aircraft, but narrowbodies. Regards, Fritz

Do you use v5 ? Then this is an extremely annoying and known ORBX problem (and your third picture is not any better). I'm not sure whether it is caused by EU OLC, after fresh v5 installation these anomalies appeared just after Global Base. And: GEN or GES do not make any difference. You might check similar threads on ORBX's P3Dv5 forum. Regards, Fritz

Both AP active with CAT III ILS ??
Pegaso replied to altenae's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
That has nothing to do with CAT III. If MSFS were a flight simulator, you'd need to activate both APs on every ILS approach (and only on ILS approaches). -
What could such a nonsense be good for? 😷

MSFS202 Avionics and switches locking up??
Pegaso replied to FAAmecanic's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Seems many people still believe that MSFS2020 is/will be what its name says. It's a scenery simulator in some points of Earth - not flight at all.... -
What will it be good for, as REX cannot overcome MSFS's limitations? Even though the REX weather engine is pushing the proper temperatures and winds aloft data through to the simulator, due to core issues of Microsoft Flight Simulator, temperatures and winds aloft are not properly rendered yet. Microsoft & Asobo are aware of this issue. (September 13, 2020)

A few questions about flying with the 152
Pegaso replied to xender's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
A huge project, Juan. Well, the C152 and C172 are the only somewhat flyable aircraft in MSFS, all other are -carefully spoken- absolute garbage. Ad 1) This means FLYING an aircraft. At least a virtual and a real Cessna achieve a pretty constant level only by her throttle setting - dependant on winds of course). The 152 has no elevator or rudder trim, so nothing can relieve you from permanent interaction. Ad 2) There is no DME, so have a Tablet and GPS with you for that. And always have a tanker aircraft at your side, esp. across the oceans ;-) Blue skies and happy landings Fritz -
PMDG NG3 might be closer than we think?
Pegaso replied to Nyxx's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
We'll see. What we have seen are really impressive pictures regarding scenery and environment. Afaik what nobody demonstrated or proved yet is whether MSFS in fact is a simulation of flight, not just sitting in an aircraft and looking around. That means we don't know whether MSFS makes as much realism possible like P3D5 or XP11 do. If that's not the case we must not expect realistic models as we are used to (no matter who makes these). Hope I'm not right.... -
Full Length Flight: KSFO to KLAS by IGN
Pegaso replied to EastFB72's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Now it's proved, just some playing for kids, and nothing to do with simulation of flight. Good for my 6 yr. old son. -
Maybe the aircraft is supposed to be a simulation of piloting, not being a passenger.

"30 fps is not enough...". Maybe, if you're a dog. In case of human you cannot see the difference. And: stutters when panning e.g. have nothing in common with fps.

The video shows P3Dv5's stock clouds etc., not REX, sorry...
