Hi all! So I downloaded Megascenery Pacific Northwest for FS9. It installed properly and everything. Everything was done with admin permissions. (I'm running windows 8). However, its just not working. Like, its just not working. I load up at Tacoma and its all default and nothing has changed. I've messed around with the scenery library and it won't do anything either. I'm pretty much at a stand still. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your time and help! A. Ford

Hi,Been away. Was too busy before I left to get properly stuck in to NGX. NOw I have returned, and got hold of Tom Risagers most excellent and informed "readers digest" of the equally excellent, but swede-creaming PMDG docs. I'm starting from scratch but as soon as I enter the cockpit my controllers stop working. I can't pan; change views nor activate any controller assigned action. I have obviously checked that it works in other payware and FSX aircraft, and it's fine. I use EZdok, and interestingly, even if I use EZStudio I cannot change the view; it's as if the input into the sim via the controller or any proxy thereof stops working.I can still change views via the keyboard and operate switches and stuff using the mouse, but I have no control surface control, so to speak. Is this the "freeze" that people speak of? Is there a fix? I have done a search on "joystick stops working" and not come up with much. I read the read me files and installed all the .msi files as instructed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the latest version then reinstalled my FSX SE but I still can't get it to work. It is very frustrating as I am a 777 captain and I like to practice a few NPAs on a computer before I do my recurrent sim. On a separate note I muched preferred the old 2D panels as they are easier to manage while practising approaches. Overall is quite realistic but I think the 3D cockpit and difficulty installing it are huge barriers to its potential.

Sorry to bother you all.. but could someone help me with GSX? Just did a clean (1st) install on my system and no matter if I try to load into a addon or default airport it says: "There are no parkings available at this airport" when trying to open the in-game menu - which just says that it's loading and to please wait... Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate the help 🙂 My game install is fresh and I don't have many mods: PMDG, Navigraph, two addon airports, FSRealistic Pro and that's about it. All installed within the last week.

G'day guys, I have been having some trouble with ORBX payware airports, specially Melbourne, Brisbane... Every time I fly into the scenery (in other words, only in the landing), all the buildings are in "skeleton" and the runway as well as the airport's taxiway, remains with default texture but even worse, without any markings. I am not using any other texture-affecting addon such as REX or anything else, just ORBX and FTX terrain. It always worked as fine as it could be, but from a couple of weeks from now it happened quite often. Any ideas of what is happening? My specs are: i7-3600k 3.4GHz RAM 8GB System 64 bits Video Card Nvidia GTX560

I have recently downloaded, and installed the PMDG 737NGX. The visual model, and (visual) virtual cockpit shows. The sounds are also working. But a lot of things, are not working. Here is a list of everything that is not working: Virtual cockpit >PFD and other screens are black >Not a single button works in 2D, or 3D cockpit. >No moving parts on external, a or internal model. For example, throttles and flight yoke don't move when I move them, but the plane actually does react to what I do. And the elevator and ailerons (etc.) do not move >No lights . I have completely uninstalled the PMDG 737NGX, deleted all PMDG guages and effects, as well as deleted all registry entries related to PMDG, and deleted all temporary files related to PMDG. Then I ran a registry cleaner, restarted and reinsalled. That didn't fix anything. I really do not understand what's going on. please hepl me please hepl me please hepl me please hepl me please hepl me :(

Hello everyone, I've been having this problem for little while now, and I can't figure out why : Whenever I have a flight plan loaded, or I've set up a "direct to" in the G1000, the magenta line appears and the G1000 indicates that the "leg" is active, but I cannot turn on the NAV feature of the autopilot so that the plane follows the active leg. For some reason, my autopilot will only accept "roll" and "hdg" as laternal navigation, but not nav. I may be doing something wrong, but I've followed all the checklists and gone through the manual and I can't seem to find what the origin of the problem would be. Thanks so much for your help, epik

Hi for a while now i'm having issues with the camera effects who are not working anymore in prepar3d v4.1. i have no shaking , no blast zone effects etc... none of the effects are working. i played around with the sliders , even maxxed them out but no luck , it's not working. it was working before so i wonder why it's not anymore i run windows 10 with all the latests updates and simming on P3d v4.1 would be great to be able to fix this , i miss them Thanks

I have the unregistered version of fsuipc. i've read that you don't need the registered version for most add-ons. trike-immersion and precipitfx seems to work fine, but the 737 immersion does not. i don't see any change in lighting, and no wing/engine condensation either. does the 737 immersion require the registered version of fsuipc or is there something else that might be the problem?

I was so excited about the Immersion Effects for the PMDG 737NGX being released. I have the 777Immersion and was just amazed at how it truly increased the simulator experience. But I cannot get the 737Immersion to work. You can see all of the entries in the aircraft config file under [smokeSystem]. The effects files are all in the Effects folder. Upon depressing the "I" key, the effects all react at once. So I know the effects are there, but cannot get to to work. I do have a question though. I have never received my serial number for my software. Could that be the problem in that it needs to be activated? I thought the activation was automatic through my account? Next issue is that I cannot download or view the User Manual through VFXCentral. Stephen

Hi All, I have a weird situation. I currently run FSX in DX10 with Steve's Fixer. My PC runs win7 64 bit pro. FSX Acceleration, and my GFX card is Nvidia GTX 780 3GB. Everything works fine in dx9, but as soon as i switch, SweetFX stops working completely, i just dont get anything but standard fsx lighting. i followed instructions from the website and downloaded recommended files, but nothing... I would really appreciate any help as i am a bit frustrated haha.....what could i have skipped?

Hi, I recently noticed my livery manager wasn't working well so I decided to do reinstall. After uninstalling, I realised that it did not delete the livery manager so I deleted it myself. I freshly downloaded a new copy from the PMDG website after the Operations Center informed me of a new update. When I reinstalled, it did not restore Livery manager. I have tried reinstalling more than 3 times now with no success. Someone please help!!?? I need my PMDG!! Thanks, Aaron. I've been having some trouble utilizing the rudders on the Airbus x Add-on that I recently installed. Please note I am only using a keyboard and mouse, no external peripherals. As well, I am new to FSX, and Airbus X. It is mandatory to do a rudder check during the after-start checklist, but I've been having trouble getting the rudders to work. The problem is, that when I use the rudder (yaw) keys, the rudders don't appear to be moving the way they should; When I press "0", the rudder moves just a slight bit, but immediately returns to it's original position. When I hold the "0" button, the rudders rapidly and continuously move only a slight, but not fully extending/extending. As well, a tool tip continues to show up, saying that "It is difficult to fly this aircraft without rudder controls, to activate them, press ctrl+x". The problem is, ctrl+x isn't doing anything, and the rudders continue to be problematic. Please help! (Note that I am new to FSX)

I installed "Tileproxy" with all the default settings. I then finished setting everything up finally went into my folder and hit on "start Tileproxy." then ran "FSX" asthe dos window was open in the background. Both fuel gauges seem to be stuck on 14, they never change no matter how long the flight. Are they not functional?

I just purchased the PMDG 737 8900 Base Package, extracted the file ran the .exe and nothing happened. I'm not happy.

What do I do about a missing resource file or an error in my log file: Failed to find resource 'terrain/g2xpl_17_24144_79568_4096.ter', referenced from scenery package 'Custom Scenery/z_g2xpl/'. The terrain file 'terrain/g2xpl_17_24144_79568_4096.ter' could not be located. I removed the default scenery and readded it. I removed the DDS file and the error appeared. But strange that it doesn't appear until I try to take off from airport where the problem tile is. I donated and so I have the latest version 6.90. -

Hi, I'm having a problem with the 737-800 GPS. I've set up a flight plan and activated the VOR LOC switch, but the GPS always follow a line about 20 degrees less from where it should be (the pattern is following heading 36, but it goes heading 14). Can somebody help me?
