December 16, 200817 yr OK, I can't take this anymore. I know what it is. I cracked into the developer's website, classified hard drive storage area, personal diaries, and rumaged through all the trash cans they used in the past year for napkins with notes on them. So....-----------------------------------------------------------------"It's here! Get ready for the ONE thing that has been missing from Flight Simulation for all time! You too can now experience the joys of what many a real-world pilot does! December 16, 200817 yr For me, a worthwhile "Big Secret" would be a sim that is FSX plus:1) gets great fps on a typical high end sys2) has no wind shifts or abrupt visibility transitions3) can do full overcast decks4) has sloped runway/apron capabilitiesThat'd be about it for me...FS heaven then...That would be an ideal BIG SECRET to me. Wait, I'm daydreaming again...P.S. I wish you and your wife well Geof A. , car crashes are no good at all. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

December 17, 200817 yr I suppose the fact that the PCA announcement has created little or no curiosity anywhere else, that the site itself is totally silent on any coming "big thing" (apart from the two newsletters) and that there is total silence from PCA makes me think that there may be nothing to come at all and that they are hoping we quietly forget it was.

I would hardly consider a single Mega Scenery title like Northern California (or any other region) to rank with "the most exciting development in flight simulation since Flight Simulator itself." It's got to be something else??? Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d

December 17, 200817 yr What is it?What is it?What is it?What is it?What is it?Could they not at least tell us if it's a hardware or software product? Maybe it's only for rich people?
December 17, 200817 yr the biggest news, it had to be the newest form of flight realism. it only cost $4000. basically you go online, sign up for a renal at your local FBO, get into a c-172 and fly. when you look out the windows it almost looks life like, and feel the way your moving, no motion simulator needed here, its the real thing. Look companies make statements all the time that don't pan out the way we hope and there is always going to be someone that is not happy in the end, but when the 15th came and went and noting was posted, it bummed me out ( after another delay from the 1st ) I am still waiting for my airport textures and weather engine from FEX. But as it was said here in previous postings, no other company was going to be able to out do them in a week or two if it is really something huge so even if it not ready, just tell us already.
