Ok here it goes. Kissimmee (KISM) , about the worst area I've seen so far, That last two shots are incredible! The first one looks like older data from either yahoo or google-I wonder as the data updates if it will also update on the server?

Geof,Are those street lights due to Ultimate Terrain or are they from Megasearth?BTW...I am downloading like 8 sections of CO (Aspen to Denver). I forgot to add the WA (4) that was freebee. But now, I am unable to download it separately. so I thought'll purchase another section of WA. and the price has gone back to $7.xx So you will get the discount only if you purchase them at one time. It looks very "flat" sort of. Is there no autogen buildings in those tiles?/Jonas

If you set Texture_Max_Load=4096, they look a little better, but after the novelty of "I can see m house" wears off, I think atleast for Florida UTUSAX/GEX is a better combo. I know though in the mountain areas you fly in, it's probably the opposite!!

I am downloading some of my flat state now and will post some shots-but the mountains are spectacular!The thing this scenery brings out for me are the types of things that fs just can't do-subtle shading of land , sand,and vegetation (as David's shots show) man made flaws in the land, and subtle land erosion, rivers, water, and especially roads that don't look like a line that has been pasted over tiles. It was disturbing flying around Mt. Ranier to see how much has been lumbered and clear cut!

Would one of you guys that has downloaded some of the Ft Lauderdale, FL post some shots please. Maybe around the KFLL area. I am excited about this as well. I have always wanted some good photo scenery of that area.

All right... I just bought the rest of CO and the entire WA that they have.Love the dusk/night. ITs awesome..and I also like the autogens..as you fly high..the autogens lessens and as you descend, the autogens are dense. The forest autogens over CO is amazing. Whatever the technology they have used to populate the autogens is working very nice. Particulalry the trees. The suburban autogens are adequate..nothing to crow about. With the addition of UT street lightings and roads (traffic), its the best thing there is for US IMO.Love it!Now, we need airport addons for these areas :( And if you are buying,,., keep adding to the cart until you get the lowest per piece. The lowest I was able to go was $4.99. Wish there was a way to add the entire state or a multiple blocks at a time... instead of selecting one block at a time and then adding to shopping cart.Manny

Are you sure about that? If so I won't be purchasing any areas but I ask because on the MegaSceneryEarth site it says this:What About Seasons??It's an almost impossible task to create scenery for all four seasons. The data isn't available and it would quadruple your install size. Most images in Megascenery are taken in the spring and the same scenery will display regardless of whatever season you have set.Todd

i have to agree with one of the other people who posted earlier, i am not really impressed with what i am seeing. the colors seems a bit washed out, and as you look out in the distance, everything looks VERY flat. i dont like the look of flat 2D houses too much. i will say the terrian like mountians look good but if you fly in say the midwest, that is not going to help much. i am sure this is great for some, but i dont think this is the biggest thing in FS since FS.

As the owner of possibly all the existing FSX photosceneries I must say that I may be alone in finding the quality of Megasceneryearth Florida Keys, well....terrible ! The quality reminds me of what photoscenery looked like in FS9. I recall the comments in the forums about how flat etc photosceney was and then came FSX and my first view of Horizon GenX england/wales. I was amazed at the sense of depth and almost 3D effect they achieved where hedgerows and buildings "appeared" to have height. This "effect" was similarly produced in GEXnHanced and again in FTX. This new offering by Megasceneryearth does not IMHO reproduce the standard or benchmark that I would expect, especially for the price.MegasceneryX SoCal is of a better quality without the wishy washy colours and FLAT appearance.I admire the "evolutionary" rather than "revolutionary" (Tile Proxy was Revolutionary!) concept of having the Earth available on tap to download but will have to wait and see how long things take to get done. The current limited offerings are of areas already covered in great detail by others and we are still scratching only the tip of the USA. I wish them well and look forward to being a regular customer but only if the end product improves in quality.Am I alone with this opinion?Regards and merry christmas to you all.
