New FS9 737 NG on its way

Featured Replies

They are going above and beyond what PMDG has ever done. They are even adding a function to allow us to choose what thrust output we want our engines to have. I am not talking about a derate, but the actual engine type we want.thrust.jpgFrom what I am reading, this is supposed to have the functionality of the Leonardo Maddog with the looks of AirSimmer or Qualitywings. And the best part is that it is almost finished!irs.jpg

Not knowing a lot about Boeing a/c, I must ask why are the crt's red? Is that what they look like when they are first powered on or off? Or is that some type of protective covering?
Obviously part of the so-called DU optical test. So no Photoshop or covering.

I for one would HOPE its payware as that would enable the team to go into much greater detail and support.

People, I simply sent those guys an email, and I asked them if the plane will be able to load and save custom panel states, and if the plane will be freeware or payware. Their answer is:1) yes, you can load and save panel states.2) The plane is payware.I really don't mind to pay for this, it seems like we finally have worthy PMDG replacement, and a plane that's probably also better than the Ariane offerings. What makes me happiest is simply that it saves and loads panel states. I will buy this thing the moment it comes out, that's for sure!

Even if its not payware that does not mean it can't surpass PMDG's prior 737NG offering.Just because something is payware does not mean it will be better. There's been some real lemon payware add-ons sold out there over the years, and they were expensive.I find that the Tu-154M FREEWARE is superior to anything else (at least for me), same with a number of Russian freeware sceneries. The freeware iFly 747 was also good and there are a ton of other examples. Freeware is not to be underestimated, over the years there have been a lot of remarkable gems. What would be funny is if they release it as payware for FSX (as its the newer simulator) and release it for FS9 as freeware. :(EDIT:

Ah, some news. So it will be payware.

Well i cant wait for this one! I have been a loyal pmdg user for ages but they let me down when they said the ngx wont be for fs9, as much as i would love to run fsx i simply cant, i dont have the money for a rig powerfull enough and that i feel is a tad inconsiderate of pmdg, so lets hope this one will live up to the hype, im in!Chris

I am more then willing to pay for it! It looks awesome. As of now it looks much better then the old PMDG...sorry PimGee, but I am feeling 'inconsiderate' too. :(

You all may know as a true MD lover, but damn, that airplane looks remarkably good and from the looks of it, seems like it's going to be a hit with all of that functionality. Watch out PMDG :( From all the way around the globe I wish those Chinese fellas a prosper future with what it seems is going to be a hell of an add-on.

And may you asked him about expected release date? :( Just because it seems almost done for the release...

I recall mentioning a long time ago on the Avsim forums that the I-Fly 747 might have been their 'shop window' for future stuff, and it would seem that is the case. Their NG appears to have the looks and apparently it has the system functionality too, so we will just have to hope they make it three out of three and give it a good flight model too, which for the 600, will be no mean feat.I wish them luck in pulling it off. If that happens, there is one thing that will be bound to please many; the reports of FS9's death will have been greatly exaggerated.Al

So far so good...and good luck to those guy's. So far everything "look" perfect. I just hope that this look, is not goin' to be another "Airsimmer story"...Anyway, count me in when this came up. Good luck again! :(

My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....

And may you asked him about expected release date? :( Just because it seems almost done for the release...
Nah, I refrained from doing that, because that question is always greeted with irritation. However, you can download the iFly 747 package and email the guys yourself. I used the email addresses found in the readme file of the iFly 747.

Good call, i agree, lets not bother with release dates, it only gets people on both ends excited for nothing(and I dont mean in a good way).Let us all let them get this what looks to be amazing plane developed properly without questions on release dates.Im sure we will all be made aware one way or another when it is ready for departure.aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh I cant wait!!!!! I have been looking for something other than the pmdg model, it just doesnt do it for me anymore.
