If that's what the real thing does (we didn't get to actually fly around in one, as fun as that would have been), then I will try to get this in haha.
I'm not actually sure how this works but I was reading a airliners.net forum about it, it had pics which could be helpful. It's in the tech forum and is called 737ng nd or something.

Then get 15 posts about why your software is broken, lol! Those are my favorite support inquiries:That is how the real plane functions, if you dont like it speak with Boeing...

Let's face it. It's as if Ryan and or Robert were actually Michaelangelo, with someone pointing to a tiny portion of the Sistine Chapel and finding some sort of fault with it. Some people are never satisfied.

If you have the nd range set high and want to show airports will it simulate it loading them from right to left and when the system runs out of memory it stops like on the real aircraft.
I don't think it does this.Jack C

I just purchased the Jetsream! I'm very excited, and I hope I won't get any CTDs - those are the only things I'm afraid of, because of many CTD reports. Let's install and see:-)

By the way i read somewhere, sometime ago that aircraft maintenance engineers can get the vertical speed and/or G-force from the last landing in the fmc in case of a overweight landing or similar situations where they need to check if the aircraft has been damaged. This was on the 767 so the NGX might be completely different, but would it be possible to get a VS-reading of the last landing so that you can evaluate your landings?
If they do so, make sure there is a limit to how low it registers. It really bugs me when VA's have "Top 50 smoothest landings" and 20 of them are VS +10.

by the way guys,if anyone of you wants a weather radar, then you can pruchase one (as you all know there are weatherradars availabel at the market) and then you can insert it in the NGX. that shouldn't be very difficoult as most WX radars have a tool which does that for you. then you have a weatherradar. and PMDG couldn't do it better anyway (if you look at the reasons they've mentioned).so have fun with weatherradars and with searching clouds with it^^

Not only is this an option, but PMDG made this literally a drop in for the JS4100 using the Reality XP WXR. It doesn't sound like it will be quite this easy on the NGX, but I am hopeful. I don't care to have WXR from PMDG, but would love to be able to add one if I so choose to do so.Eric Szczesniak

Hm, I don't think it will be that easy at all because the Wx radar is implemented into EHSI, not stand alone as in J41. I think that PMDG would have to do it on their own from the beginning, but of curse I have no idea how third party Wx radars work, so maybe it's easier than I think.

Ok so get this - it is real, and it's actually already in the product - I should have gone and tried before I replied haha. It was already there.

Now that is attention to detail :-)Any ETA on the next update in the series, PMDG?Will the updates come as you reach certain milestones or did you plan to release them at certain intervals? When looking at some of the screenshots of "the other 737"'s load manager I noticed that several engine revisions will be represented. That raised the question if the engines will be customizable on the NGX and if not which engine is your 737 based upon.Regards

Just saw that screenshot, and that is pretty cool. All those different engines in the package, along with eyebrow windows and winglets.

Any idea when the manuals will come out as PMDG normally puts those out first? JeffG
